Enjoy great home amenities in an upscale environment after a luxurious day on the beach at this absolutely stunning La Jolla home for six. This gated home is just one block from the heart of La Jolla Village, giving the family easy access to restaurants, grocery stores, and two blocks from Windansea Beach. Take a stroll five blocks down to Marine Street Beach, or head south to the world-famous WindanSea Beach. There's something around every corner to keep the fun rolling all vacation long. Decorated to the nines with high-end furnishings, tall ceilings, and opulent tile floors, you'll feel like royalty at this La Jolla home.

Gather the group in the comfortable living room to watch a movie or show on the flat screen cable TV, or play games while seating on the overstuffed leather sofas. The entryway has a gorgeous organ and armchair, perfect for a quiet afternoon spent lost in your current novel. Warm neutrals, granite countertops, and top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances make the full kitchen a chef's dream. Whip up delicious home-cooked meals using the in-wall oven and six-burner gas stove-top. Other additions include a spacious corner pantry, microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, blender, and toaster. Stay indoors to eat at the round dining table that can fit up to six guests (with the extra leaf), or take your plate outside to the back patio, which also has a gas grill for more meal variety.

Three beautifully decorated bedrooms on the second floor and two and a half bathrooms offer space for up to six guests. The lucky guests staying in the primary bedroom will adore the plush king-size bed, cozy sun room, and large attached bathroom. Enjoy a hot shower or fill up the jetted tub to end the day on a relaxing note. A queen-size bed occupies the second bedroom, and the third has a full-size bed. A washer and dryer are even included so you can pack extra light and always have a fresh outfit and swimsuit for tomorrow's adventure.

Drive or walk about a mile north to see stunning La Jolla Cove. Explore Scripps Park, Cuvier Park, and Point Mecinger. Spend an afternoon browsing art galleries and boutiques in the main hub of La Jolla, then follow it up with a mouth-watering meal at George's at the Cove. Booming San Diego is just six miles south where you can play around Mission Beach and Bay, visit Sea World and Balboa Park (home of the San Diego Zoo), and shop at places like Seaport Village and the Gaslamp Quarter. And don't miss out on taking in the vintage pier experience at Belmont Park just off Mission Boulevard.

Great location, house needs updating
The location is wonderful, quiet and safe. It was easy to check in and check out. It was great to have parking spots as well. The rooms and space are as advertised. There were plenty of towels and paper towels. However, the house is in need of major renovations. Everything is pretty dated and used. It was clean but the rugs are very old and many of the shades on the windows don’t work properly. The primary bedroom is pretty bright so if you’re sensitive to light you should bring an eye mask. The shower in the primary bedroom hardly works - we were glad to have another shower to use. The shampoo and conditioner provided were travel size and I’d recommend bringing extra depending on how long you’ll be staying. The kitchen has pots and pans and utensils but not much else. The knives are usable but dull. There are no essentials like salt, pepper or olive oil. There was soap and a sponge, as well as dishwashing pods but it would have been nice to have some other cleaning supplies to wipe counters and the outdoor table. Two of the burners on the barbecue weren’t working. We used the oven and it worked fine after we figured out how to use it - it wasn’t very intuitive. We didn’t use the stovetop so I’m not sure if that functions properly. We’ve stayed in several rental homes in the area and since this one is very dated the pricing is fair. It was comfortable and we stayed 4 nights, but if we were staying longer we might look elsewhere.

Great location!
Wonderful location in a peaceful neighborhood! Yummy selection of restaurants within walking distance of this property. Needs new furnishings throughout, especially family room! One small sofa is not enough! Four adults cannot relax comfortably! Not much more that caught us off guard.

Great stay, will come back
This place was in a wonderful location and was perfect for our family. With the exception of the queen bed, which could be firmer/replaced, the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms clean. The king bed was super comfortable! The WiFi router was unplugged when we got there and it took us a minute to find it (was in the middle bedroom). Texting with Vacasa to troubleshoot this wasn’t the smoothest although we figured it out eventually and they were doing their best to be helpful. There’s a ton of towels in the place, including beach towels. Extra sheets would also have been useful. The kitchen and the place overall is reasonably well equipped (we appreciated the rice cooker and the W/D). It was great to have parking in the property. The church organ in the front room was fun to play with! Just to reiterate, the location was spectacular and we would come back again!

Great location! Beds and pillows very comfortable. Microwave did not work. Wi-Fi failed to work on the last day. There was no booklet to tell us where things were or how to work things like the TV. There were no helpful hints about where to eat locally. No information about what they want it done at check out.

Great Location, Disappointing accomodations
There were water stains on the MBR ceiling, and the FR and middle bedroon ceilings.By 2nd wk there was ceiling mold and water drips onto MBR carpet. I called but no one came. There was mold in the MBR shower. Stairway sign requested shoe removal on the filthy stained carpet. Light on stair is broken. MBR blanket stained. Kitchen bar stools were broken. Step down into kitchen is big fall risk.Would not use Vacasa again.

Not ‘Shang Ri La”
Mixed review on this not great rental. The good bits: - amazing location - lots of parking - good water pressure - good tv / directTV channel selection - top notch kitchen appliances - good linens, comfortable bed The bad: - it’s very, very dated with old furniture and lots of visible deferred maintenance throughout - 90% of cups and “glasses” are plastic - the kitchen cutlery and crockery is very hodge podge and old; nothing matches - poorly stocked kitchen; cutting boards are super old; knives also too dull to cut much; no pantry items like olive oil or cling wrap - slow Wi-Fi speed - no door on primary bathroom - bed looks right into the glass shower - there is only seating for 3-4 ppl; not a suitable rental for more than 4 people - not all windows in primary have window coverings, so if you need a dark room, you’ll need an eye mask - we also had two nights of rain coming into the main bedroom (clearly not a new issue b/c the ceiling leak stains were already there) In summary, the location is amazing but the actual house is really not great. We don’t recommend it.

Peaceful haven in the midst of a busy birthday family reunion!
Communication was very good. Vacasa responded to our inquiries quickly. Check in access easy. We arrived after dark, however, and the house numbers were not visible. Had to get out of the car with flashlight to determine we were in the right place. No street lights but this is a safe area. Property is in a wonderful location for walking to the beach, grocery store, local restaurants, and our relatives’ home. Parking excellent. Two off street spaces. Overall the home could use updating in furnishings. A few minor maintenance issues should be addressed. Brand new gas grill! Master bed very comfortable. Full size mattress in bedroom three should be addressed (replaced?) Queen mattress in bedroom 2 was firm but comfortable enough. Bathrooms are beautiful. Master shower is great, jetted tub in master also a treat. Master closet huge and so helpful. Kitchen adequately equipped except this kitchen needs a set of measuring spoons and measuring cups. We had our one year old grandson with us. This property is not equipped for babies. That was clear in description. Rented a pack and play locally. (Other properties do provide basic baby equipment.) Third floor room was not accessible (which was clear in description) but that would be the cherry on top if it were available to guests. Sunsets would be fabulous. Sigh. I figure somebody did something stupid and ruined it for the rest of us. Carpet on the stairs was a turn off as it was stained. Looked dirty—upstairs generally fine though. Pet friendly. They said you paid fee for nights dog was in the home. I just have to figure how to get credited for three nights pet was not with us. (Will help cover pack and play rental!) Finally, organ in living room was FUN! Even if you’re not musically inclined, give it a try. It does a lot of the playing for you.

Great location close to downtown La Jolla and the beaches. Also very close to the Taco Shop! Home is somewhat outdated with aged finishes. King bed is nice. Master tub fills slow. They do have beach towels a couple old beach chairs and a few old sand toys and balls. Adequate amenities. Location 5/5, home quality and amenities 4/5. Overall 4/5.

no ocean view
Listing description stated "serene ocean views" and included one photo with an ocean view. This "view" was from 3rd floor balcony, which was locked and not accessible. We were told by management (after check-in) that this was due to neighbor complaints. We would not recommend this property. It was clean but we have a long list of minor complaints (broken appliances) as well.

Good home, great location.
My husband and I, as well as our 2 small furbabies stayed at this house. The location is great, but the furnishings are outdated as others mentioned. The living room needs better seating. We were disappointed that access to the third level was not granted. It would have been nice to enjoy the ocean view. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Oh and communication with the nearby manager was great.

Great house, great location
This house has everything you need and the location is fantastic. House is clean and although sparsely appointed, it has everything you might need. Having parking is a plus in this area, and the front and back porch spaces are an added bonus. Master bed and bath are large and the other two rooms are spacious enough. Plenty of towels, shampoo, dish soap, laundry detergent all on site. Kitchen has all appliances, dishes, cookware, etc and salt/pepper.

Superb Location/Terrible Home
The photos don't tell the whole story. Furniture is very dated and worn. Reminds me of my grandmother's house. Shag carpet on stairs and upper level is stained and ancient. Upper deck has a great view, but furniture is limited (no umbrella) and extremely worn and dirty. Gas grill is not usable due to the amount of grease and grime. All utensils and plats needed to be rewashed due to stuck on food or discoloration. I never even new that they made such poor quality silverware. Multiple mirrored walls! Living room seating allowed for 2 people to watch TV and 3 people total. For the amount of money paid out for this home, we were shocked at the condition. Location was superb, but that can only carry it so far. The furniture, fit and finishings are way to dated for the price charged. I'll agree that it is partially my fault. The old reviews mentioned issues in past years and I naively assumed that they were rectified. I don't recommend renting a house managed by Vacasa.
