"Who stayed: 2 families with young kids We had an amazing time in Sainte Gemme. The house is beautiful, clean and perfectly set up to welcome families. We really enjoyed the pool! We visited the zoo, La Rochelle and local vineyards while there. "

Idéalement située, pour profiter de l'estuaire de la Gironde et de la côte Atlantique, découvrir de magnifiques petits villages, et parcourir les nombreux sentiers de randonnées en pleine nature. "The balcony off the kitchen was a lovely place to eat breakfast and other meals. We appreciated the beautiful scented blossom off the tree by the pool that perfumed the lounge area. Plenty of seating area in both sun and shade around the pool. Lots of space and bright sunny rooms which could be kept cool using the shutters. The chateau at La Rochefoucauld was worth a visit and we had a good meal at Au Moulin du Chateau there."

"Cela m'embête de donner un avis aussi défavorable car l'hôte est un homme sympathique mais je juge les lieux et non la personne. La maison et le terrain sont très grand, et c'est certain que cela demande beaucoup de temps et d'énergie pour effectuer un entretien correct. Peut être est il temps de faire appel à une entreprise pour faire ce travail. Cela permettrait de profiter du jardin et de la piscine comme il ce doit pour ce qui est de l'extérieur et de la cuisine et des chambres pour...

"We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "

Nice new building.

"Very comfortable, clean and welcoming. Ideal for overnight stay, staff very polite and helpful. New building 2023 modern decor excellent bathroom with large shower head. Window in bedroom was large but no way to keep it open just a little for fresh air. Would stay again and recommend it to others."

"The hotel was beautiful and the staff beyond helpful.. Location was perfect in a beautiful street close to the main square and walking distance to everything. But you must be aware that its a small city ad taxi service is limited... i had to walk to the hotel from the train station and also on my way back.. all the taxis.were fully booked.. 1.4 km not bad but.with a suitcase is not fun... this not the hotel's fault... but you must be aware (the same is i guess for all hotels) "
