"I've booked for two nights. At arrival they couldn't find our reservation to begin with. After waiting for 45 minutes the gave us a key to a room on the 1 floor. My room was the last on the corridor who was/in service. The other rooms after my room were out of service and there were safety shoes outside the room next to the open doors. "Spent 2 nights here recently.My daughter and I were the only guests. The hotel is isolated but interesting although close to a major and noisy road.Staff we met were kind but very low key which was no problem.Room was spartan but clean.As Colon is a pretty rough city this hotel is a good alternative to the city centre hotels where your mobility is limited due to the risk of violence."

"The hotel is in a beautiful setting overlooking the ocean. The pool and deck are great to relax in and watch the waves. The restaurant food was good (need hour notice for dinner). The rooms are really rustic and ours did not have AC. Also, note that there is not a public beach on Isla Grande. We spent all day at Coconuts on the other side of island at their beach and would probably stay there if we went again. We were traveling with 2 teens. "
