Step back in time to 1914 and enjoy this updated guesthouse with delightful front and back porches, beautifully decorated interior and fully stocked kitchen. Perfect home base for your trip to Round Top/Warrenton and just around the corner from The Ice Plant Building wedding venue! Join us for a your pre-wedding activities, a girls getaway or just to explore the incredibly cute town of La Grange!

Please note that La Grange has a working train that comes through the middle of town. There is no set schedule for the train and it can come through at various times throughout the day and night. This property is adjacent to the tracks and while many guests find it charming and enjoy watching the train pass by, ear plugs are provided should the noise disturb you.

Great Getaway!`
We had friends that were playing at Bugle Boy. The house was locate close by to the restaurant we all met at and to Bugle Boy. The house was very cute and clean. Loved drinking my morning coffee on the back porch.

Ginger Jar house in La Grange
We enjoyed staying at this sweet house in La Grange for our daughters wedding at the Ice Plant. The location was very close and the house is very cute!

House was perfect!
The house was perfect for our sister getaway! The only downside of our stay was the lawn was overgrown and the bike tires needed some air other than that the stay was great! We really enjoyed the porches!

This is the perfect place to getaway for a weekend. It is a beautiful Victorian style home that has been decorated perfectly. Very comfy and cozy! The host gives plenty of options for places to go and things to do in the area!

The stay was great, beds were very comfy and everything very clean. We stayed because it was walking distance to the wedding venue. Only complaint is the train is a stones throw away so be prepared with some ear plugs.

Great weekend getaway
The house was perfect for two couples. All the amenities you would need for cooking and lounging. Beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. The host was easy to contact and gave very clear instructions for checkin and out. Yes it is next to the train tracks but it didn’t affect our sleep. Overall, great location, welcoming and comfortable house that has been beautifully decorated. Would book again!

Round Top Trip
Perfect location for Round Top Antique Fair. The house is so charming and adorable! HEB right up the street. Beds are comfy and kitchen is stocked. We had a blast and would definitely rent again. Train is of note but we laughed it off! Overall a 10 out of 10!

Cleanliness and organized. All the amenities needed and then more. Perfect place to eat and rest before wedding.. Back yard porch a nice touch to sit and visit. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Even the train didn't bother us too much. Earplugs were provided. Will stay there again

What a lovely property. We enjoyed sitting on the porches and cooling off in the cowboy pool in the evening. It was in close proximity to downtown so we were able to get in some antique shopping and grab meals too. Thank you Caroline for having the house stocked with everything we needed for the weekend stay. Your house is beautiful!

Wonderful
This was one the best rental properties I've stayed at. Very clean and nicely decorated. Beds were super comfortable and there were plenty of amenities--coffee, towels, etc. The backyard was huge and provided a lot of fun for the kids. In walking distance to HEB, too. We spent Father's Day weekend here remembering our dad, who had recently passed. Thank you so much for the great stay.
