"Great hotel in a good location. We had a Junior Suite and loved waking up to the view across to Mount Tiede on Tenerife. It was a very good base to explore the island which we fell in love with. A great holiday."

"I have just returned from a 5 night winter break here. I have travelled extensively but this hotel is up there with some of the best i have stayed in, certainly in Europe. The staff were all extremely polite friendly and professional. The pools and grounds were beautiful, but the town outside tge horel was very limited. We decided to upgrade to all inclusive on arrival which i would recommend due to the local town being limited for dining options. The dining on offer at the hotel was absolutely great and i couldnt fault it at all. The roon was spacious and clean but a little tired looking. I would have expected more minibqr items to be included with AI. The hitel is expensive but tge quality was spot on. We had the most relaxing lovely holiday "

"It was safe it was quiet and with the small Supermarket across the road (not LIDL) it was perfect for groceries. The pool area was well kept and surrounding area kept very clean. The only negative was the noise by the workman erecting a new boundary fence on the first floor above the pool area. Overall I will be back."

"Our first experience in a Barcelo hotel and adults only. It was a fab experience with great food (I put on weight!) - they had a different additional theme each night. Pool area was stunning. The pools were on the cooler side like most hotels but my husband enjoyed his swim. Didn’t get chance to try indoor spa but available at extra cost. Walking distance both ways from hotel. Enjoyed the walks and went to the harbour a couple of times and did a boat trip. Quiet area so if you want lively bars etc maybe not for you. But suited us. Would probably need to catch a bus to see other areas. Would recommend this hotel. "

"We had a delightful time staying in Luca and Lucia's lovely casita. They were excellent hosts very warm and welcoming and accommodating. Perfect location with easy access to beautiful nature and walks as well access to local supermercados within walking distance and the buzzy "downtown" of Valle Gran Rey offering good bakeries, fresh fish at the puerto. Also enjoyed late afternoons swimming in the warm ocean and relaxing on the playa after a long walk.Thank you too to Heike for coordinating. "
