"Great stay. Very quiet and very enjoyable"

"Lovely little fisherman’s hut in great location. Cafe on site great for food like pizzas and chips. Pool is amazing and slides are awesome. Kids loved them and wanted to stay longer. We hired bikes and scooters and toured a bit more locally and tried a local restaurant. Very nice. Promenade good too for a walk. Beach about 1km walk over the other side of the island. We would love to stay again next time we are passing through on our European travels. Roland is a great host and understood us...

"The property is in a good position about 10 minutes walk from the beach. It has a beautifully equipped kitchen and nice outdoor sitting area. We feel the property description is misleading in some areas, and hope the following will clarify things: 1. It sleeps 8 (at a push) but only seats 4. "We enjoyed our visit to Narbonne and the area. The gite was clean and tidy, but there was mis-communication between the owner and ourselves regarding a few items. Although VRBO state that the owner speaks English, this was not really the case. VRBO also stated in the literature that towels and bedding were included. They were not, and we had to pay extra. Even then, the towels were still not provided on our arrival. There were no tea towels, or oven gloves either. We thought that the equipment...

"Unser Aufenthalt im September in der Nachsaison ließ keine Wünsche offen. Alles war wie beschrieben. In dem Haus fehlt es an nichts. Es gab sogar Schnakengitter in den Schlafzimmern und dem Wohnraum über die wir froh waren. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war super. Alles ist fußläufig gut erreichbar (Bäcker, Intermarche, Restaurants etc.). Die Nähe zum Etang hat uns sehr gefallen. "

"The villa was very clean, very well equipped and perfect for our stay.....the pool was a great size for our group of four. The only negative was that we experienced very low water pressure during our stay which impacted the bathrooms and made showering sometimes a little challenging. The Commune of Durban is a lovely village and had a useful local Supermarket with Bakery and a really nice Bar / Restaurant ( Chez Prano). We had to travel a little distance in the evening to visit other restaurants...

"This is the third time we have stayed in Michel's house by the lagoon and we enjoyed our stay just as much as our first visit, it is unusual for us to return to the same property three times so that shows that Michel is getting it right. The house is clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything you need and is in a very good position for Gruissan as well as being a good base for exploring the area. The handover at the start and end of our stay was very easy and Michel always responds...
