The farm has more than 70 years operating. Since the beginning of the 19th century the Quesada family has been in the agriculture & cattle business offering the Central American market premium products with a sustainable vision. This ensures that the land will be passed through generations maintaining the same fertility and quality of its beginnings.
The ranch villa was always the main family house for the Quesada family.

The Villa has been upgraded and modernized in the last years so to keep the feeling of an outdoor farm house that with all the features that a city house has to make sure you can continue your day to day with the slight difference of being in a privileged location. Newest addition: YOGA DECK!
Plants In The gardens have been meticulously selected to have the perfect combination between an ornamental and an edible organic garden surrounded by fruit trees.

A wonderful stay at a beautiful property!
We had a wonderful time at The Ranch Villa Arenal! The house and grounds are beautiful and the staff was warm and welcoming. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and sitting on the porch at night. The Ranch was close to all of our activities in the area. We would highly recommend this property!

What a beautiful place. We felt so special and welcome. The grounds are impressive and clean. Each day the pool area gets cleaned . We had ladies fix our meal 2x and the prices were very reasonable. There is someone on the grounds who would help us with anything. Everything we did was close by.

Relaxing paradise
The Ranch Villa Arenal is a gorgeous house and property. We felt at home and fell in love with Yadi the house keeper/cook and Joaquin the grounds keeper. Yadi cooked a delicious breakfast every day and Joaquin entertained us with tours of the working ranch. The Fortuna area offers many activities for all age groups. Our family had a fantastic time and highly recommend this property. Pura Vida.

We loved this place!
We had the best time at the villa. Yadi cooked the most amazing meals, Joaquin took some of our group on a tour of the grounds but on top of that he always seemed to appear right when we needed something, anticipating our every thought. We truly have no complaints, this was the perfect location and experience for our group of 8 adults.

Amazing time at the Ranch Villa Arenal
I cannot say enough positive things about our stay. Jorge was an amazing host with amazing staff. Jordy, the concierge was so responsive and helpful with organizing everything for our stay. Yadi, the chef, made the yummiest food for our group and Joaquin, the Gardner, gave us a fun and interactive tour of the property. My husband and friends raved about the house and grounds. Would 100% stay here again!

Looks like the listing. Great overall stay will a large group of friends. Huge property with lots to see (fruits, birds, etc) and pool w/ hot tub. Water pressure can be low at times if more than 1 person is using a shower.

Beautiful property
This was a beautiful property and the stay was amazing. Hands down the grounds man was one of the best people we have ever met! Had a mishap where my wallet was left and nobody notified me until I reached out, but otherwise all went perfectly. Such a beautiful property!

Amazing Villa
A well built and cared for house situated on an amazing property. This was the perfect vacation get away for my family. Everyone had their own room and bathroom, and we had plenty of places around the property to hang out, play games, or just relax with a beverage. The back veranda was a wonderful place to gather for meals, and the cool ACs in the bedrooms worked great. A short drive to all kinds of La Fortuna activities, and within walking distance to fresh fruit, groceries, restaurant. An amazing place to stay while in Costa Rica!

Magnificent Arenal villa
Nine of us (two families of adults) had a wonderful time at the villa. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained by the ever helpful Joaquin, and the house is kept in great shape by Yadi (who is also an amazing cook). There are enough bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate a large group easily, and the outdoor living space was spectacular. Our group spread out between the large covered terrace and the pool area. The proximity to Victorino’s is a huge plus!

La Fortuna Stay
We had an excellent time celebrating my dad's 85th birthday. The location was central yet out of the way so it felt private. The staff was super attentive. We had a hickup where I left something at the house when I went back to San Jose and the staff had it messengered over. The food prepped by Yadira was outstanding as well! Thanks for a great time!

Its raining in the rain forest
This is a lovely property just outside of La Fortuna. Everyone was wonderful and the back yard is beyond beautiful. This is the perfect place for those who don't want a typical tourist experience. It is like living on a plantation in the jungle. We did not want to leave.

The team was superb. Their communication was strong. Value of the property was great when factoring in location, price, amenities, support, etc (5 stars!). They're always very happy to help with whatever needs and accommodations. Prepare to spend far more in tipping than anticipated.

Lovely, unique property with responsive staff
This is a lovely, huge house that is perfect for large groups. The backyard/verandah is a feast for the eyes, the bedrooms are comfortable, a very nice sitting room for gatherings and the bathrooms are clean with hot water. Very convenient location, near a grocery store and not too far from all that La Fortuna has to offer. The staff is responsive, helpful and flexible. Jordy was critical to helping plan our excursions and transfers, Yadira made several delicious meals for our group and Juaquin gave us a wonderful tour of the property. Would recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing trip for a big group!

Great Location, Wonderful Staff, Super Stay
Property was beautiful. There were 6 of us and more than enough room. Check-in was easy, everything was clean and kept that way throughout our stay. Joaquin the gardener does not speak English, but very nicely found a sloth in the field behind us, took a picture to show us what he had found, then took us to it. Yadira made lasagna, quiche and empanadas which were all fantastic. Villa is just a short distance from La Fortuna, so was easy to get to everything we wanted to see. Would highly recommend.

Gorgeous Oasis
We absolutely loved staying at this gorgeous well cared for Villa. The grounds were breathtaking. Birdwatching was almost as good as going to a national park. We were 3 families with 6 kids ranging from 10-18. We loved the house, pool, grounds, and farm. Joaquin, the grounds keeper was so friendly and kind even though he spoke minimal English. He proudly showed me around this majestical place. We were traveling all over the country. I wish we could have stayed here longer.

Beautiful Home and Centrally Located
My family and I had a wonderful stay at this home. It was centrally located to most activities which we greatly appreciated (15 min drive to La Fortuna town, Arenal volcano, Tabacon hot springs and Sky Trek Ziplining). The home (including all beds) was very comfortable with a great layout. Simply beautiful property and grounds. The pool with waterfall and jacuzzi was also a nice treat, although we had trouble with the pool filter which was not operating when we arrived. Other than that, we had a fantastic stay and highly recommend this home. The fresh coconuts cut down by Jorge on our last day was a very nice gesture and he was very helpful throughout our stay.

Oasis in La Fortuna
We truly enjoyed our stay at the ranch villa! The backyard was the perfect place to destress with a ton of wildlife and beautiful gardens! The best decision was to have Yadira make us dinner the day of our arrival. We all had the fried talapia and it was the best fish we had on the whole trip.. highly recommend! We also had her cook us breakfast each morning which was amazing. The villa was in perfect location- close enough to walk to stores and an amazing restaurant (victorinos), and an easy drive to the hot springs and arenal volcano. We went on the Don Olivio chocolate/coffee tour which was only a 5 minute drive and a great experience! We could not say enough good things about the backyard and we highly recommend staying at this villa if you are planning a trip to La fortuna!

Great stay
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. The outdoors are what makes this property amazing, the interiors are nothing special. The backyard, the views, the nature around the property is just incredible. The only issue that we had was when we had NO water in the house one evening. It was quite a challenge but luckily we got that taken care later that night. The water pressure is an issue, so be mindful about that. The chef's food was not as good as other reviews, you have some great options close by or in La Fortuna. Overall, 5 stars just for the backyard!
