"While we were a little nervous about the somewhat shabby area around this small, quiet hotel, we were quite happy to enter and find an immaculately clean, modernized facility. The parking area, while not a garage, fell safe and secure. The staff was incredibly welcoming and kind, the common areas fresh and modern and the room so clean and sparkling! Absolutely the only reason I had to take off a star was because the mattress really could use replacing. It felt old and I could feel the springs....

"Online booking. Confirmation information did not extend to necessary check in details but our arrival time was within the parameters of supposed manned reception. On arrival access was problematic and achieved only with the help of another visitor. Eventually one (extremely surly) staff member with poor attitude opened the door and dismissively pointed to envelopes containing the room keys before disappearing in a cloud of disinterest without providing the front door key code which the other...

She doesn't speak French, so she was very impressed with the staff ability to communicate with her and help her with all her needs. Customer service is what made this property to stand out. "We had a wonderful time. Stephane met our early arrivals to let them in and the whole party of 24 - great grandparents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins all enjoyed the lovely pool and grounds- with plenty of space for cricket, badminton and board games. Stephane was very helpful when the dishwasher didn’t work- coming up to replace it immediately. We had wonderful weather and really enjoyed Kayaking in Lusignan. We would love to return"

"Everything you need for a wind-down in the country. All you could need is provided in the clean and comfortable gite. Not quite silence - there are sheep a couple of fields away and the hum of insects gorging on the flowers. Walks through the fields and woods in the area from the front door. Genial hosts with good local knowledge, friendly and discrete. "
