"Excellent stay, the property is clean modern and very spacious. I stayed in Villa 1 which had plenty of space for me and my wife. The room had a nice kitchen area with a large fridge / cutlery, cups etc , a comfortable bed and a clean modern bathroom. The property is located within walking distance to one of the entrances to Marino Ballena national park and provides secure parking with an electric gate. Overall I had an excellent stay and would highly recommend to stay at Cedrela Beach Villas....

"We had the pleasure of staying at this amazing property for four days. The house and grounds match the photos exactly and if anything the pictures don’t fully capture how stunning it is. We were a little unlucky with some rainy weather but having this place to stay/return to every day was a joy. As others mentioned the drive up to the property is a bit of a stressful experience initially, but after the first few times we got the hang of it and it became another memory/part of the adventure....

"This is a beautiful and well-appointed house surrounded by gorgeous flora and fauna, with great indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy. There is a toad who loves to hang by the pool. Wonderful birds, including green parrots who are your wake-up call. There were three couples on our trip, and there always was plenty of room to gather or to spend alone time. "This rental is exactly as pictured. The hosts are wonderful answering any questions . The area is remote do you really get a nice experience of the culture. The views of wildlife and the beach are stunning. Plenty of space to be extremely comfortable with 7 or more. Definitely need a car as they suggest. Something for everyone pool, beach, authentic culture, wildlife. Hands down will stay again "

"I hosted a group adventure retreat in this insanely gorgeous villa with a group of 15. The pictures do not fully capture the magic of this beautiful, clean, and grandiose casa! So much space, tons of social areas and places to lounge and relax, as well as have privacy. We hosted family dinners on the deck wooden table and the dining area is great as well. The yoga Shala was a personal favorite, with a breathtaking view. Amazing bathrooms and amenities throughout the house, to include a pool room...

"We stayed here as a family of 4. Absolutely beautiful home and property. My kids loved the pool and each having their own bathroom. We watched toucans and other birds in the trees and iguanas, Jesus lizards and geckos run around the grounds. A/C in the bedrooms was lovely. The living room and kitchen could be a bit stuffy in the middle of the day, but we were out by the pool during those hours anyway!"

"Loved the house and the location was great. The pool outside was perfect and we would go play in the water at the beach. Note that the beach right out front of the house is not a good place to play since there are large rocks and swift currents in the area. You have to walk a couple hundred yards north to get to an area you can play safely. Waking to that beach on high tide can be difficult. "

"Our families loved our time at Whale Watchers Villa. It is stunning from the views, the layout, the decor, everything, stunning! The owners/hosts are amazing, friendly, and answered all questions. The house had all we needed for cooking, laundry, and a comfortable stay. The pool and its view are breathtaking. The location was perfect, easy with 4x4 but not too far up from the road. "The rooms a very unique and they property is beautiful. We had tiny bats roosting on our villa and it was fabulous to watch them swoop and dive over the river in the evening. The owner & staff were lovely although my lack of Spanish made communication difficult. There was few maintenance issues, and the room it’s self could do with a little love."

"We are 2 couples that visited. We have been here before and loved it then. On this trip we did the recommended Jungle ATV tour - fabulous! We had great meals at La Parcela and of course the wings at Jolly Roger’s! This villa is perfect for great walks on the beach, relaxing by the pool and has a great kitchen to prepare any foods or beverages desired. Easy travel to Manuel Antonio and Uvita for night life, and quiet if you wanted to stay home. We truly love this area and will be back for sure!!"

"The Villa Ambiente worked out to be a perfect location for our family to enjoy both a reunion and a celebration of our 50th Wedding Anniversary.There was lots of room for all of us to hang out without being on top of each other, and the pool was a great hit with the 6 children. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and the environment was outstanding. The Villa is a real gem and we are so glad that we found it."

"We loved staying here and would have loved to stay longer. The view of the Pacific is stunning, and the house is incredibly unique with its design and indoor/open air layout. The wildlife is amazing with the house being located in the middle of the jungle; we saw cool lizards and a dozen or more monkeys! Highly recommend!"

"Hotels dot com screwed up the reservation, but Jessica at the property did everything she could and made sure I️ have accommodations for my trip. She’s there to help and does a great job at that. The road going to the site is dirt, but that’s expected in CR. The pool at the smaller condos is amazing. Infinity, with fantastic views and the right depth to hang out and enjoy life. Definitely going back there the next time I’m in Uvita!!"

"My fiancé and I enjoyed a relaxing week at this hotel. It's very close to town and they have great recommendations for activities around the area or a little outside the town of Uvita. The staff was absolutely fantastic! Paolo went out of his way to make our experience memorable and made us feel right at home. Definitely staying here on our next visit! "
