"Pool was amazing, the house had everything you could need, kitchen utilities, games, baby cot and high chair, etc. Communication from owners was good. Wonderful location, could walk into Sarlat town easily. We would highly recommend!"

"Maison et jardin très agréable; très propre à notre arrivée, et correspondant à l'annonce. Cependant, grosse surprise à notre accueil de nous demander 130 euros pour la prestation ménage de fin de séjour, qui n'était pas prévue à la réservation, et qu'il a fallu régler immédiatement. Selon les conseils d'Abritel, cette clause aurait dû être prévue dès la location et nous n'aurions pas dû la payer, le séjour étant réglé dans l'intégralité. Grosse contrariété pour commencer les vacances, dommage....

"This is clearly a 5-star property both in a lovely removed, private setting yet mere steps from the old town. The cottage is lovingly crafted and very up to date. I was sorry not to have a "welcome notebook" with a history of the property as that would have been entirely fascinating. And although we figured everything out, a "user's guide" attached to that notebook would have been helpful. It is a spectacular property and was a joy to experience. "

"The house was perfect for us. Well-equipped spacious and very quiet. The heated pool was great. The location was approximately 2 miles from medieval Sarlat, and 1 mile from an Intermarche supermarket. The host, Johanna was responsive and readily available. I highly recommend this house!"

"La p'tite bergerie is a beautiful gite, and has everything you need to make your stay homely and comfortable. It is set in an absolutely lovely area, very peaceful and relaxing, but is ideally located to many other towns, villages and sights this part of the Dordogne has to offer. Beatrice and Remy are fantastic hosts and nothing is too much for them, we really felt a friendship has been formed, so much so that we will be returning in December to enjoy their gite at Christmas time...can't wait!...

"Nous avons été déçu de notre gîte. Les alentours sont mal entretenus, l’impression d’abandon. Dans la chambre n°3, le matelas est plus large que le sommier. La cuisine: manque de vaisselle, d’ustensiles de cuisine, de bols pour déjeuner. Des plats rouillés. Pas de vraie cafetière… il faut des dosettes senseo. Manque aspirateur, seau et serpillère pour faire le ménage. Sur la terrasse, les lattes en bois se soulèvent, le salon de jardin est vieillissant, odeur de fosse septique."

"We enjoyed our stay for 5 days at this 2 bedroom cottage situated on a working farm. The kitchen has all the amenities needed and the lounge area offers the opportunity for a real log fire. "We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."
