Simply Magnifico
"Paradise! Lovely small resort with friendly, helpful and attentive staff. This is rural Mexico and most staff speak little English. The rooms are clean and comfortable with hot water showers. Nice pool, amazing views, good food both for the included breakfast and purchased dinners. You can walk miles on this relatively secluded beach but swimming is NOT recommended due to strong surf and currents. Abundant birds and aquatic life. We saw whales and dolphins daily! There is minimal light pollution here making for magnificent night skies.
The drive here from Puerto Vallarta is more than 2 hours due to traffic congestion, speedbumps and potholes but the destination is well worth the effort. Taking the bus is possible but would be challenging. We have traveled extensively in Mexico both on and off the beaten path. This hidden gem has won a place in my heart and I can hardly wait to return!"
