"When I arrived at the hotel, there was no one at the front desk. I rang the bell and waited a long time. After ringing many times, an attendant came to the desk (about 30 minutes later). He seemed unprepared for me, and left to find a room. After 15 minutes and me ringing the bell several times again, he came back. He was very nice, appologetic, and assigned a "room with a view". This was on the 4th floor with no elevator. The room's window openned to the view of a wall, and it was extremely hot...

"Nice property in a good location. Walkable into Lyon centre and back (be prepared for the climb!). Lots of buses available if you don't fancy the walk. Lovely having the outdoor space but unfortunately at this time of the year I was a tasty meal for the mosquitoes!
