"In a quiet area within easy walking of city centre, beaches, local shops. Could have been better if there was a bit more information about getting around eg buses, ferries, bikes etc. Staff always polite. "

"All round good hotel and the pool was definitely a plus , only think was not good was you have to go to the supermarket for your loo roll you can’t buy it from the hotel which I found uncomfortable asking about x"

"Because of our late train arrival the reception desk was closed. We had informed the property two days prior by email but it was not acknowledged. We were fortunately met by a representative who took us to our room. Lovely room but a/c didn’t work, fans only. :("

"The location is perfect and the staff very pleasant and accommodating. Internet access is very fluid. One small improvement could be made in re. the kitchen cleaning supplies/bathroom supplies, too limited for a stay longer than a week. But overall very pleasant stay. Thank you!"

"...unless you don't mind sleeping in bunk beds! There was a double bed and two bunks. There was no one on Reception when we arrived at 7pm nor when we left at 9am! However the room was clean and its location just opposite the beach was very pleasant.Parking was very convenient."

"We enjoyed our week's stay on this lovely island. The accommodation was very good value for the price paid. We were given a house actually meant to accomodate 5-6 people so we had plenty of room plus a small yard area with garden furniture. It was well-equipped generally although we did find the mattresses on the beds were a bit thin and so not as comfortable as we would have liked - but then after a busy day walking and exploring we slept well anyway! Hotel staff were cheerful, friendly and...

"Petit séjour de 3 nuits hors saison, donc beaucoup de commerces fermés, mais sinon les alentours sont très beaux ! J'ai adoré la ville de Château d'Oléron ! Nous y retournerons ! Le camping est petit, les cottages sont simple et pratique. Nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la piscine (avril à octobre), nous y allions plus pour nous reposer et visiter les alentours."

"The property is ideal in a great location for the whole of the island , everything you need for your stay and more . Great host Jacky pleasure to meet you . Property is a couple minutes walk to the harbour port with plenty of restaurants, ice cream shops, boutiques, bars , fish market etc . Also straight onto the cycling paths. Look forward to returning to cycle the vineyards!"
