"Quality of rooms seemed vastly different: ours was cramped with a serviceable but not very generous bathroom, while the room across the hall (which we saw when the other guest left leaving her door open) had a very generously-sized sleeping area and a bigger and more well-appointed bathroom. "This is a nice setting in the middle of nowhere in the Normandy countryside.The owner seems very nice and friendly however it seems he is running this place alone and is working a full time job.I made the booking the same day and vlearly he hadn’t noticed it.Having finally managed to rouse him to open the door I was told room wasn't ready yet -it was around 6.30 PM ( my bedding was hanging on the washing line ) and as he was unprepared for me there would be nothing for Breakfast as the...

"Arrived at farm to find the bedroom very old, cold and very dated, a minute kitchen with minute facilities with the minute fridge already fully stocked by the next rooms tenants and we weren’t prepared to share a 2 ring stove. The bathroom only had a hand held shower head hanging off the wall over the bath. It was only £42 per night but it was not even worth a second look to be honest."

"We stayed here for one night after arriving earlier in Cherbourg. The property was easily found using a sat nav. The owner, Roger, was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable with refreshments available. Having asked prior to our arrival, we had a fantastic 3 course evening meal expertly prepared and presented by his young chef Brenda. Breakfast in the morning was a continental offering with the option of freshly cooked bacon and scrambled eggs. Everything was spot on....
