The restaurant was good and inexpensive, the recperionist/waiter was very friendly and informative. "The property is both a a spa frequented by retirees and family vacation spot. It reminded of what a Catskills resort might have been like. We were only there overnight but had a good impression."

"This 16th-century hotel exudes charm and history. Julian was a wonderful host. I easily found free street parking, but it’s off season. Be warned, however, that older buildings come with quirks, such as hot water taking a while time to come on (then plenty hot and good pressure) and high steps. My companions and I loved it!"
