"We were here as a family for a celebration of my mom's life. She grew up in Noirmoutier. The house was everything we expected. Spacious, a well stocked kitchen, clean. The seating areas outside were wonderful. There are bike paths nearby that help you explore the island safely. Screens on the windows were awesome as mosquitos can be a problem on the island. This is a must if you like to sleep with a breeze. The owners were very responsive and helpful. We would stay there again."

"We had a truly wonderful family week in this beautiful villa. The villa was clean and very well-equipped, with lots of towels provided. There was plenty of space for our party of ten (from ages 5 to 79) to comfortably live for a week. Cooking in the kitchen and bbq/outdoor space was a pleasure. Table tennis, table football and the swimming pool were a huge bonus for both the children and adults! The beach, with lovely sea-bathing, was less than a ten-minute walk. "Easy to find and in a great location with walking distance to town with a super u and restaurants and also an easy walk to the beach. Hardly used the car for the week. Loved the large fridge and ice-maker and the pool was a lovely temperature and just what we needed in 27degree heat. The advert mentioned a hot tub and there wasn’t one and also no mention that bedding and towels weren’t provided, so we had to buys towels on arrival and pay €15 for bedding. This should be a given and not advised...

"My family and I enjoyed two fantastic weeks at the Domaine le Sherwood Tanzania. It is a huge house which accommodated all 10 of us. The beach is nearby and it allows dogs which was a real bonus. The small towns of Norte Dame de Monts and St Jean de Monts are convenient for food and fun. The restaurant in Notre Dame de Monts, opposite the church, does the most wonderful moules et frites. "Had a lovely stay at the property but there were a few annoying points. Leading up to the stay I tried to contact them via Expedia and email to request ground floor access but got no response! Parking spaces are very tight, even with a reasonably small car, very difficult getting in and out, almost impossible with a baby.
