"We arrived a week after it had re-opened . It is so stylish and beautifully appointed. There were unfinished bits, but it will be an incredible hotel when finished. It is in a fantastic location with a fabulous Lido style pool . We used it for a night before our ferry trip and wished we could stay longer ! "

"A fantastic view (sea and the port) and a nice room with a comfortable bed. SPA is free and we enjoyed Sauna, Jacuzzi and the little pool. We had one of the most fascinating views including the sunrise in the morning from the hotel room and then in the evening sunset just the other side of the hotel. "Big appartment for a budget rate, close enough to the ferry port and nearby supermarkets to allow for walking to and from, but let down by provision of dirty teatowel, hard floors and thin ceilings resulting in no sleep possible until after midnight due to noise (talking and movement) from above. Lack of utilities' instructions meant that coffee maker unusable. Reasonable overall but could be better. Although WiFi signal strong, couldn't get it to connect."

"We had a 2 bedroom apartment. The unit was spacious and clean. The kitchen has a dishwasher but is a little short on utensils. Maybe most guest bring this sort of thing but as we are from Canada we had to rely on what was there. The furniture was Roche Bobois but it wasn't as comfortable as I expected. There are also strict rules about cleaning up before you check out with fines attached. We didn't expect this and there were no cleaning supplies although the hotel notice indicates there are....

"Elizabeth is a lovely hostess and the apartment was generally well equipped. The bed was great and the kitchen had just about everything one could want. We rated the accuracy a 4 because, although there is a dryer, it does not dry clothes, as it is not vented. However, there is a drying rack which does a nice job in good weather. We would return."
