"La Cuvellerie is a beautiful and comfortable old estate in the quaint village of Narcy, close to the Sancerre wineries. Our host Marc was the kindest man, finding us an open restaurant when we we arrived late in the evening, helping us with our personal needs, even frying us eggs for breakfast. The rooms are quaint and comfortable, showcasing 300 year old construction techniques with hand-hewn beams and dowels. As with any old home, it has its charming ideosyncracies. Great budget hotel
"We stayed one night on the way to the south of France. Hotel was perfect for a stopover. Very clean with lovely staff. Rooms are functional but bed was comfy and shower was hot. Excellent breakfast. We drove into Nevers and walked along the river. Filled with petrol at the local supermarket and ate at a pizza restaurant just down the road. "
