"Lovely week away with friends and family. The chalet was perfect for our group. Lovely big table to eat around and roaring fire. John was very helpful recommending restaurants and replying to messages quickly. The ski area was excellent for all abilities, with lovely restaurants to explore up the mountains. Thank you John."

He only wanted cash and I didnt have time to get cash being that I left the U.S.A. on a Sunday and he advised me of the cash deposit THAT Sunday morning. "As soon as everyone walked in to the chalet, we all felt immediately at home. You can tell it is used by the owners as it is very homely and brilliantly equipped. It was an ideal place for a three generational ski trip. Lots of room, stunning views. Easy access to slopes and a short drive to shops/telecabine. Owners were very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend. "

"Het huis was heel fijn, van alle gemakken voorzien. We waren met 14 personen en de keuken was hier goed in voorzien. Ook heel fijn dat iedere kamer een eigen badkamer heeft. Voor de bus naar Pre la Joux moet je een klein stukje omhoog lopen, is op een paar minuten loopafstand. Het centrum kun je lopend bereiken, ongeveer 20 minuten. We zouden het huis zeker aanraden!"

"This chalet was perfect for us, we were 4 children and 4 adults. The property was really well equipped, the kitchen had everything you could need. The owner is so helpful, she helped with our ski hire, gave recommendations of where to ski, ski schools and general information on the area. The resort was perfect for children learning to ski, the ski instructors (ESF) were great. It’s a lovely little resort. "We celebrated a big birthday with a family get together; we were 17 people, all ages and ALL enjoyed their stay. The property was perfect; The rooms were great and very clean. it had everything we needed. Marco (host) went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. "Took this trip with my husband, in-laws, and their significant others for a total of 8. There was plenty of space and we all had privacy. The views from this chalet are absolutely in-your-face-stunning and I liked the proximity to nearby ski-town resorts like Sieve. The hot tub was clean and it was also great to have washer/dryer. "What a gem! We had a lovely 2-night stay at Alparthotel surrounding one day of skiing at Champery. The hotel is lovely, quiet, and clean. It is an easy walk from the Chemin de Verger bus stop. We did not have a car and were able to walk to a Coop nearby (grocery store and restaurant). The rooms were comfortable and modern. Would definitely recommend!"

"This is a decent development in a good location. Unfortunately, the development lacks from an attention to detail in a number of areas, including the fixtures and fittings and the layout of the kitchenette. The swimming pool and sauna were overcrowded. There is a general unclarity whether parking, wifi, towels and sheets are included or excluded from the rental, with staff at the front-desk not being able to provide clarity."

"As an older female, and solo traveller, I found The Freddie Mercury Hotel to be very safe indeed. Conveniently located and easily accessibleat the end of the Montreux train station platform. There are shops, a small supermarket, a pharmacy, an Irish Pub, and local bus stop within minutes minutes from the hotel. And also a lift down to the lake area beside the main road. It's a bright, spacious, modern hotel. Bright, clean, and well equipped for the traveller. I had breakfast each morning, which is buffet style, but caters for all tastes, with hot, cold, and very fresh tasty food and beverages. The dining area is always staffed, on hand if you require any assistance. The kitchen and dining area are spotless! Beds are simply luxurious. Staff are a joy to experience. They are genuinely friendly, helpful and informative. They made their job look effortless, regardless of the time of day, and gave each guest their full attention. Well done, and many thanks to them all. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. "

"A solid hotel in a beautiful location. View of the lake and mountains. Many balconies. Beautiful area in a sleepy village. The place is extremely clean, but a little age is showing and low cost improvements. I am sure this is out of season and hotel is in a maintenance mode so the restaurant was closed. "
