"Very good location for seeing the sights of the Highlands Only one very minor suggestion and that is to change the smoke alarm nearest the kitchen, it would trigger even with lightly done toast, no smoke or burning, I'm guessing someone has had an issue with this before as I pushed the button on the detector trying to reset/quiten it but the whole thing fell away from the ceiling, it is held in there with tissue paper wrapped around the screws, not great for safety as it runs on mains power, no...

"We chose this location because of our plan to do several hikes, as well as visit the various Locks and Isle of Sky. It is a great location, though plan ahead and get your groceries in Fort William as the shop in Fort Augustus is pretty sparse. The unit was very clean and comfortable. We had a little problem with the wi-fi, but it was tolerable (since we weren't there to be on our devices). We also had the stovetop go out on us. The property managers were right on it. "The property was as advertised. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was clean. Check in was easy and seamless. We did have an issue with the oven not working so it would have been useful to have some sort of manual for the property. Perhaps we just didn’t see it. Overall a great experience. "

"Regal yet family friendly! Something for everyone. My 5 year old granddaughter learned to fly fish. We all hiked. The baby learned to crawl up 3 flights of thickly carpeted stairs (supervised of course). So many wonderful sites to see and explore. Food and locals were amazing. Terrific family vacation!"

"The stay was nice and the views were absolutely gorgeous but there were a few hiccups. Check out on VRBO showed 11 am but it was actually 10 am. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast was delicious and again, the views couldn’t be beat."
