"The house is located in a small and peaceful village in the Northern Black Forest. It is huge. Perfect for a big group/family. It is equipped with everything (incliding a nice sauna) and all the equipment worked perfectly. Big kitchen, nice dining room, good beds. Highly recommended."

"The pictures do not do this place justice. The owners are wonderful, the available amenities excellent and the property caters to everything we wanted. Everything was spotless, and as a group of 7, there is loads of room for everyone. We really cannot rate this property and the owners highly enough. We will be looking to rebook in the future."

"This property is beautiful and the location is perfect for exploring the Black Forest. We did experience a couple of challenges, but the host was fantastic and did everything he could to put things right and quickly. It is very isolated here, so no nipping to the shop, but it’s exactly what we wanted. Kids would love it here. So much for them to do. Thank you for a lovely stay."

"We found everything we needed for our four night vacation in the Black Forest. Easy to get to, easy to travel to neighboring areas with sites we wanted to explore, and the perfect respite after adventuresome days. "We had a pleasant stay at this property, but we did find much of the information is misleading, so I would suggest reading this review if you are interested in renting. On the plus side, it is modern and clean and it has a great setting, but I would highlight the following: 1. There are actually 2 houses and the pictures on the website show both, so only half the pictures will apply to the house you hire. "Caren & Michaels place was fantastic, such a lovely house with everything you could possibly need. We stayed for a few days over Christmas and it was exactly what we were looking for, a quiet and calm area close to nature.The hosts were lovely, and were there to support if you needed anything. They even came by and with some Christmas snacks and Gluhwein on Christmas eve, which made us feel very welcome. Would highly recommend!"
