"Sweet Cabana" -Pet Friendly home 1-2 blocks from the beach + outdoor shower!

If you are looking for a quiet & relaxing easy stay, this is it! 1-2 block short walk to the beach (you can hear the ocean from the house!), 5 blocks to Kure Beach Pier. This small ranch style duplex is the perfect spot to relax. It has a wonderful outdoor shower, too! Perfect for cleaning up after the beach or showering under the stars (seriously, try it, it's magical!). Built in the 60's, but updated (a/c is cool, bathroom is CLEAN, outdoor shower is awesome, house has style and charm).

🌴 Walking distance to Freddie's, Jack Mackerels, Big Daddy's restaurants
🌴 Disc golf, park, dog park located a short distance away (2-3 min drive)
🌴 Grocery store 5-10 min drive
🌴 Aquarium located 5 miles away

Home has 3 bedrooms, each with a queen bed. Fully equipped kitchen (no dishwasher FYI). Master bedroom has a TV, as well as the living room.

Outdoor equipment includes: beach chair, toys/buckets, large picnic table. Feel free to use any of our stuff!

Pet friendly 🐾 - please let us know if you have a pet and also note, there is a $50 pet fee (per pet) for extra cleaning. If you have more than one pet, please message us for approval.

Please note: On the right side is our "Salty Cabana" - a small one bedroom place (get it? sweet 🧁 and salty 🍿) Plenty of free parking for everyone.

Overall very nice property! The bathroom is located between all three rooms so you have to walk through one of the bedrooms to get to it. Would be fine for a family but was slightly awkward to use with a group of friends. Location was perfect and very close to the beach! Would definitely recommend staying here and host was very helpful and accommodating.

We had a great time at Sweet Cabana! We brought our daughter and her friend for a short getaway before school starts and this was the perfect location. The cabana was clean and had everything we needed down to beach supplies. The neighbors were friendly and offered suggestions on things to do. Overall, it was a great stay!

From the ease of the check in process to the friendliness of the hosts. The hosts were more than welcoming and even gave little tips to help make the vacation even better! The house was clean and well stocked to help with not having to remember everything to take with you! The beds were comfy and clean! The outdoor shower is a must to try when staying! We will definitely be back

The duplex is in a nice neighborhood
The duplex is in a nice neighborhood and close to the beach, a very short walk. The community has many options for both food and entertainment. It has only a small area to gather when not in one of the bedrooms and no dining table to share a meal. The dishes were not clean (dusty). The bedroom with the sliding door got very hot at night making it difficult to sleep. It would have been nice given the price if they had quality toilet paper. However even with these issues it was a satisfactory experience.

Fantastic stay!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Sweet Cabana! The neighborhood was quiet and very friendly. Everything was updated and very comfortable for our group of four, and the outdoor shower was a great addition. We walked to the beach every night and enjoyed the local restaurants and stores very much. We would definitely recommend this place to friends and family visiting the area!

We loved our stay at the Cabana!
This property was exactly what my family of four (two adults, one kid, and our doggo) needed for a quick beach getaway. The location couldn't be more perfect -- it takes maybe five minutes to walk to the beach! And with its proximity to Fort Fisher, we visited the NC Aquarium and were able to take our dog to the beach. Kure Beach is a lovely town and this property is a great way to enjoy it. The outdoor shower is A++++!

My parents loved their stay in the Sweet Cabana. The place was very clean and exactly what they needed for a little R & R. The host were very accommodating when there was a little issue with the toilet. They came over and fixed the problem and my folks were able to enjoy the rest of their stay. They said they would be back for sure. Thank you!

Terra(host) was great...we had a little problem with power on arrival and the next day, so I contacted her & she immediately contacted their electrician who came by within 30 minutes, then Duke Energy was also contacted and she also came by herself to make sure the problem was fixed which was nothing to do with the place it was all Duke Energy and for our trouble she left a gift card for dinner in the mailbox the next morning. ..we had a wonderful time, location was great...we also LOVED the outside shower and the beds were super comfy...we will definitely stay again and you will not find a nicer host!!!

Cute, Quaint Cabana
We enjoyed our stay at the "Sweet Cabana". The location was a short walk from the beach, pier, and restaurants. You have everything you need without getting into the car which is a great perk! We had 5 people altogether and the size worked out perfect for us. The outdoor shower was fantastic, it had hot and cold water. We only stayed 2 nights so we just wish we had more time.
