"We have booked the Honeymoon Pavilion room to celebrate our anniversary. We requested a small cake & bed decoration which they did wonderful without charging us any extra penny. Regarding the view, it was just breathtaking. The combination of waterfalls & mountains will definitely win your heart. You may get lost in natural with your morning tea and the roaring sounds of the waterfall mixing with the sweet voice of the birds. The hotel may not looks pretty polished from outside but very clean and well maintained from inside. All the staff are very friendly & welcoming and they will always try to feel you how special you are to them. Food was good & taste. A lots of options in the complementary breakfast. You will also get complementary evening tea and snacks, which is good. The only thing we are not happy with is the number of options for a non-vegetarian in the dinner buffet. Ala Carte menu price is on the higher side. Over all we are extremely happy with the service & location & view offered by the resort. "

"We stayed three nights at this resort. The greenery around this property is breathtaking! The staff were really helpful and attentive although a few areas can be improved. The last ten minutes or so to get to this place had awful road conditions compared to other roads in Kerala. This is not entirely properly’s fault but they and the other resort owners on the same road should be able to influence the government or pave it at their own expense. The lunch at this pkace was awesome! We should have eaten here everyday! The breakfast and dinner buffet was so so. Also, they were understaffed during these times and could not be as attentive. The buggy service was a hot or miss. We had two senior citizens staying with us and one of them had knee surgery recently and without the buggy it would be almost impossible her to access the hilly terrain. The buggies did not always come on time. However, they apologized and ultimately sent them. We rented a two bedroom property with pool. The place was spotless and beautiful! We will be back again. If you have a car/driver, skip the breakfast or dinner and opt for the lunch gir your half board option. Some of the dishes made to order during lunch are the best I had in Kerala! "We flipping loved Tall Trees, everything from the staff, restaurant, accommodation, location and surroundings. A global agency cocked up on our booking but the TTR team saved the day with the minimum of fuss and most amount of care. Would recommend to couples and families alike. "

"We recently enjoyed a two-day stay at Amberdale Hotel, and it was fantastic. The hotel offers several experiences for guests, including a morning short trek, a hike to a tea estate, and a visit to a nearby waterfall. We also loved the tea tasting, evening snacks, and the cozy night bonfire. Situated on a hilltop, our valley view room was breathtaking, showcasing beautiful tea plantations. The room was cool, cozy, and luxurious, with excellent amenities and a lovely walk-out balcony. The hotel also features a recreation area perfect for hanging out with friends. Additionally, the food was delicious, and the spa services were a nice touch (couldn't experience though). Overall, we had a wonderful stay, making it a great choice for everyone, especially couples. Highly recommend!"
