"Savonlinna Rentals is modern and spotlessly tidy throughout. It’s very close to the Savonlinna train station. It has fast WIFI and a good number of bathrooms (shared). Lastly it is relatively inexpensive. I would definitely stay again."

"This is not by any stretch of the imagination a hotel. It would be generous to describe it as a tired student hall of residence or a cheap backpaper's hostel that has seen better days. The room is stark and very poorly equipped. Advertised for 'self catering' there were no amenities whatsover provided - no crockery or cutlery, no cooking utensils, not even a mug. "Absolutely loved the atmosphere! Old school turned into a hotel, wood-fired sauna in its own building, food and herbs from their own garden. Bathtub was good-sized, bed was surprisingly comfortable and I personally loved that I could open the windows in my suite. Little bit of creaking here and there, but it didn't bother me. "This is the first time that I have stayed here. It is a lovely hotel and is only a ten minute walk to the centre. The choices at breakfast are really good. There is no kettle in the room but there is one in the communal lounge area where there is also a microwave. There is an ABC garage across the road and it has a cafe and a small supermarket the cakes here are amazing. In the centre there is the tourist information centre, two supermarkets (S Market and K Market) and there is also a Marimekko...

"Fantastic cabin on the iconic Saimaa lake . Very clean , comfortable and well situated . Staff very welcoming and accommodating. Very child friendly with a lot of amenities from boating, paddle boarding to biking all included in the price . Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning in the future ! "
