"The beds were not the most comfortable. Too hard, but also with annoying polyvinyl under the sheets. Maybe we were expecting a more well-kept beach in this 5-star resort. Comparing the beach with the neighboring, much smaller 4-star resort Sunnyside Apartments shows some of the weaknesses of the Falkensteiner resort beaches."

"Location was fantastic but be prepared to walk up lots of stairs. Old city centre totally walkable but this always means parking is a few blocks away. Breakfast included plus discount if you eat any other meals there. Suite itself good, but unfortunately smelly bathroom drains that may be due simply to an old building that the host may have no control over. Keep the door closed so the sleeping area doesn’t pick up the smell. Overall good but if you’re picky go elsewhere. Host was great."

"Not the best place to stay in Zadar. Plug sockets are an electrical hazard, not very clean... pool is not for children Service and staff were fine Location is far to walk to old town. About 35mins to sunset view. Would have maybe been abit better if the children were older. But it was too far for us to walk, not clean and not ideal "

"We enjoyed a quiet stay a Villa Vanilla. Our host kindly did all our laundry and accommodated an early departure. We were able to walk the neighborhood easily finding good food and beach access. It is a ways from old town was the only down side. "

"The place was alright, I wouldn't say it was a luxury boutique property. It was clean and tidy but the basic amenities like soap, coffee, tea and anything of that nature was severely lacking. Even the a/c was under sized for the size of apartment."

"We absolutely loved this property! The suite was so clean, super comfortable, amazing views, had everything we needed, was a great location to walk into town, the pool was great, and there's a beach very close, and also good dining close to the suites. We were able to park the car and walk everywhere. Petra, the receptionist, was so friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this property and would love to stay here again in the future. "

"It is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed. To begin with, the apartment has only one air condition for three rooms which was unacceptable considering the fact that it was 38 degrees. "This hotel was a little hard to find at first, due to the way addresses work in Croatia. There was ample off-street parking and a little beach nearby. The front desk lady was friendly and helpful - she gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation (Restoran Pumpurela). This place (Vinjerac) has a very chill seaside atmosphere. "Super accommodation. 2 very comfortable en-suite rooms. Dishwasher an absolute bonus. A toaster would have been welcome. Stove and microwave no oven. Efficient air con in all areas. Was end of season so no restaurant or bar facilities. No direct communication with staff. There is an additional cleaning charge at the end not mentioned at check in!"

"Excellen cuisine and exceptioinal wine list strong in Croatian wines, focus on Dalmatian. Away from the bustle of toursits Room a bit small, and without a real desk. I wouldn't recommend using a rental car to visit the old city on the historic peninsula, moderte walking distance from A'mare. Public transportation is limited--and limiting or the less spry. Taxis abound. "
