Arriving at the hotel we were impressed at the scale of the building and the reception decor... that lasted 30 seconds.
We were greeted by no one at the front desk, just a sign saying ‘wait to be served’. We waited for 10 mins & nothing happened, until a member of security told us we needed to go to a side office to check-in. When we got there, we were ushered to another office to check-in instead.
After finally checking-in, we were told our room was in Tower B, and ONLY accessible by walking round the entire building outside to the back, via a car park exit/entrance.
Next on to the lifts, half of which don’t work, the rest take about 10-15 mins to arrive and invariably are going in the opposite direction to which you’ve called them.
Eventually getting to our room we find the cleaner outside, barefoot, claiming to have cleaned our room; she hadn’t. Dust and hairs all over the floor, marks all over the walls & what looked like urine stains all over the toilet seat. After asking multiple times for the room to be re-cleaned, they told us it would be; it wasn’t. In fact the entire time we were there (4 days) the room wasn’t cleaned once, only the bed sheets tucked in. Bed sheets weren’t cleaned, no fresh towels provided (we had to ask for these too)... even the toilet roll wasn’t replaced! We were only given one roll to last us for our entire stay!
The only saving grace of the hotel is the infinity pool, which is beautiful. However, we were told the only way to use the
