The owner was nice, but the hotel was not very good. It wasn't very sound proof, there's a mosque right next door that has a loud speaker that sometimes plays at 6am. There's cars racing the streets at night, and many of the guests(and even some of the staff) are noisy and play videos on their cell phones late into the night or make loud calls. There was a guest who was watching videos on very high volume right close to my room until 4am for a few nights. I even reported him to one of the staff(who was asleep) and he didn't do anything.
Also, I was given a room with a semi-broken toilet and broken hot water heater, so cold showers, they told me they would give me a room the next day. I kept asking and they said "tomorrow" every time. It was probably my 5th day that i was finally able to switch rooms after i asked the owner.
The owner was nice, he even let me keep the adapter they let me use, so i feel bad for giving a bad review. But i've been to many hotels in south east Asia in the past 4 years, and this one was the worst, by far. They should sound-proof the rooms, the shuttersare not fully closeable, and the one had a hole in it(i think it would've been noisy even without this hole lol)
The surrounding area was very nice, however, and it's right next to a monorail station and 2 big malls are a short distance away.
