"The building and decor are dated and well worn. Beds were comfortable, which was a pleasant surprise given most hotel beds in Taiwan are hard and pillows are like rocks. Parking was across the street with a token to exit, but the barrier was open anyway."

"Great place for onsen outside usual popular locations. Place gives an upmarket feel and provides good quality. Very impressed with Breakfast buffet and Dinner buffet. Getting here will require a car ride as it is literally in the middle of nowhere. Has a 7-11 (opens till 2200) within 2 mins walk. A 24-H Hi-Life convenient store will require a drive out."

"The room is very comfy and clean. The staff are friendly and approachable. The location of the hotel is slightly far from the train station so would need to walk abit if you are going to the train station. It is close to a night market which is convenient. "

"This is a hot springs hotel. It is an older property still in good repair and must’ve been something in its bygone days. Everything works. It’s pretty clean. Rooms are large. Our room had a deep soaking tub. We also had a separate drinking water tap, with the wash and bathing water being sulfuric and therapeutic so that you could soak in your own tub. The location is excellent. The property is adjacent to outdoor publicly accessible hot springs and has its own private entrance. In addition, there are several small man-made pools where the fish will nibble and clean your feet. (It kind of tickles.) As the location is a bit remote inside a remote township or village, outside dining options are limited. People who aren’t driving should be advised to purchase the evening meal plan. (Breakfast is or should be provided, and you will likely be out at the National Park during the day.) I would recommend the evening meal plan, which was delicious and well-prepared. Drivers expect to travel to this property from Taichung, Taiwan, in about 1.2 hours."
