"This place was great! We had a beautiful seaside room and the meals were all delicious. The write up said a light dinner, but we found it filling. The gym looked really nice, but I never made it there"

"These were hands down the most comfortable beds and pillows we've experienced on this trip to Europe, and the trip included stays at three Hiltons and several other Hilton properties. Breakfast at FH Witt is also slightly better than at some/most Euro Hiltons. Not way better, good variety but exceptional quality. Room service was amazing. Dozens of good-quality restaurants within 5 blocks. Parking is extremely easy, we parked right in front of the entrance for a few euros every evening. Drawbacks: No air conditioning, room gets hot even with windows open when it's 23 °C outside. Shower spews water everywhere in the bathroom. Towels are small and few. There is no restaurant for lunch or dinner within the hotel, although they'll gladly pour you a beer or several. In all, lacking a Hilton property in Kalmar, this is as close as it gets with the only material downgrade being lack of air conditioning! Airline crews flying into/out of KLR stay here. So... it's good."

"We did not receive hotel entry code. A guest eventually let us in once he clarified our name. Very poor breakfast selection. In the back of a light industrial area. There is a bus on main road 403 2 stops into town or 15 min walk. Parking limited in town."

"Great location for walking around the city center and along river. Friendly staff at front desk and in the restaurant. Restaurant not expensive for a good restaurant in Sweden. Parking on street or across the street in a parking garage."

"The staff were life-savers! They are all so friendly. All speak English very well. Check in is different from an American chain so plan ahead to be in hotel restaurant by 20:00, or make easy arrangements. The room was so quaint and beautiful. Breakfast was so traditional. I loved it. I've missed Kalmar and it was good to make a visit back and stay at this lovely place. "
