"We just finished a 30 day visit to Europe and stayed in 4 different and excellent vrbos. Chalet jagdhaus was by far and away our favorite. The location the chalet and the chalet amenities were fantastic. We did not have a vehicle, but the train was just a short walk, hiking in the area was terrific, and having the bikes made it even more enjoyable. And to top it off the sauna was a nice bonus. Andy and Nina were fantastic hosts, and were always available. Absolutely loved it and highly recommend...

"It’s a nice cabin with 3 bedrooms (2 double bedrooms and one bedroom with bunk beds sufficient for five children/teenagers) surrounded by other similar cabins with wonderful views. There is a beautiful terrace facing the mountains. Ideal for hiking in summer. Even though the area may seem a bit crowded (quite a few cabins located on the slope), it is well designed and tenants do not disturb each other. The communal pool for residents is certainly a plus. "Really enjoyed staying at this very well equipped property, within easy reach of superb walking in the Dachstein and nearby mountains. The property exceeds the description and pictures. Great to sit out on the balconies and eat together in the evenin. Within a short drive of Salzburg for a days outing in a truly exceptional city."

"Nice apartment in a lovely little village in the mountains outside of Salzburg. Perfect weather, much cooler in the mountains than down in Salzburg in July! Very quiet small village of maybe a few dozen people but only minutes away from Hallein and Salzburg. Hiking trails everywhere around the village. They even have a built in alarm to make sure you don’t oversleep and miss anything! Every morning at exactly 6:00 am, and for some reason only at 6:00 am, the local church that is about 100 meters...

"This was a wonderful place to stay on our first visit ever to Salzburg. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The little artificial artful stream running down in front of the entrance was fun. It's in a limited traffic area, so the taxi guy had a remote that lowered the barrier so he could drive us right to the door. There are some great restaurants at very reasonable prices in easy walking distance, and shops too, though very touristy shops and expensive, but we didn't come to buy souvenirs. I can highly recommend this place, and look forward to staying there again someday. "
