"Perfect and convenience hotel , just off the train station and walk to the hotel , walk to outlet shopping and sea side park , lots of restaurants , beautiful view of the ocean from the hotel , nice and clean , very helpful and friendly staff , fast services . "When I booked this hotel, I read reviews that it was rather old. But this was not really the case. The condition was acceptable for the price I paid. I was given a room for 3 although I booked a room for 2. The room was spacious. What was tue best about this hotel is the fact that it is linked on the 2nd level to the walkway which leads you to the Rinku Town station (370 yen ride gets you to Kansai airport), the Rinku Town Premium Outlet and the local shopping centre. Across the road is a large supermarket "Trial". Although the hotel offers free airport transfers, the service is not available between 11am and 6pm. You can take the JR train into Osaka. If you stop at the Namba station, you will be right in the centre of action- shopping, food etc. costs about 1000 yen"

"Despite Fudoin being a temple, the accommodations were truly excellent. Both the staff and the monks were extremely pleasant and helpful. It struck a balance of being respectful to the space with luxury. We opted for a garden view room and weren't disappointed. For the small extra cost we got a private toilet and bath, the most space we've had in Japan, and an unbeatable view. We spent more time in the room than expected. The food was great and the dining room and dinner rooms were both beautiful and felt spacious. The 9p curfew was later than many neighboring locations meaning we had time to do the night tour in Okonuin, which was very special. The morning ceremony was also well balanced for westerners. It was in Japanese and English where appropriate and let the audience participate. Koya was lovely and not overcrowded (3rd week of April). Refreshing after coming through the tourist crush in Kyoto. Overall a great place to spend time. "

"Two wonderful nights at Soujiin, Koyasan. Beautiful property in centre of town with an authentic traditional Japanese experience. Meals are traditional Japanese, & are all vegetarian. Highly recommended!!"
