"My husband & I and two other couples stayed at Penelope Home for 5 nights. The home is located about halfway between the 2 airports on Crete. (About an hour each direction) We liked the central location and enjoyed hikes, caves, the beach and other activities. The suggestions for restaurants and bakeries by our host were spot on. The host also handled our transfers which was very much appreciated."

"Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Zimmer sind sehr großzügig geschnitten und liebevoll eingerichtet. Alles Notwendige ist vorhanden. Nicht alles ist ganz neu, aber das unterstreicht den Charme des Hauses. Highlights waren für uns die große mit Wein überwachsene Terrasse und die vielen schattigen Plätzchen, z.B. unter dem Orangenbaum am Pool. Klitzekleiner Kritikpunkt: Die Matratzen in den Betten waren für uns eher hart, das ist sicher Geschmackssache. Fazit: Absolut empfehlenswert."

"Dieses einfache Ferienhaus liegt 1km außerhalb des kleinen Dorfs Rodakino und ist sehr gut über die Küstenstrasse zu erreichen. Der nächst größere Ort Plakias ist zwar nur 15km aber auf der kurvigen Strecke 30min entfernt. Das Haus hat eine geschmackvolle Einrichtung, ein großes bequemes Bett und volle Küchenausstattung. "Perfect host, perfect location , perfect holiday get away . Stayed a week and it felt so relaxing straight away. Great base for exploring surroundings villages etc but lovely and secluded area to come back to. Beach just a short walk away , edged with lovely tavernas , very friendly staff who will even serve you on the beach as you relax on the sunbeds! (Bonus no charge for sunbed and brolly set!) Highly recommend short drive to Matala and Agia Galini ..both fantastic . Brave the drive through...

"This villa was perfect for our family of 5. The main level has a nice kitchen, living and dining room with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. Perfect for my adult children to stay and to cook meals. The 2nd floor has a nice bedroom and bathroom and smaller kitchen and sitting area. Really nice to give me and my husband our own space. Both have fantastic balconies which we spent a lot of time on.
