I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at Grand Hyatt (Hong Kong), especially considering the high cost of the stay and the hotel's 5-star rating.
Upon arrival, I was surprised to find that basic amenities like a personal care kit were not provided, which I would expect at a hotel of this caliber. This was just the beginning of a frustrating experience.
The worst part of my stay occurred at check-out. I was falsely accused of using a comb and shaver that I never used, and I could not even find these items in the room. The staff insisted that I would be charged for them. After returning to my home country and reviewing the invoice, I discovered that the charge was actually for a shower cap, which we did use. While the charge itself was correct, the entire experience was handled poorly and left me feeling stressed and frustrated.
Given the combination of poor service, incorrect accusations, and the lack of attention to detail, I can confidently say that I will never be returning to this hotel. The overall experience was a huge disappointment, and I would not recommend this hotel to others.
