"This is a lovely B&B just outside Maastricht in the Belgian countryside. It’s run by a lovely couple who take great pride in their property and give excellent service to guests. We used the number 62 bus which leaves from the top of the road, about a 10 minute walk, and goes to Maastricht railway station. Breakfast was excellent, can’t recommend highly enough."

"This is a very unique place to stay that oozes character. It is in a tiny community but has many options for entertainment at the hotel. The man who runs it is very responsive to needs. The place is decorated with a great sense of humor and an incredible movie theme. I used the location as a base to go in all four directions. It is do-it-yourself on meals but that suited me fine."

"This property was the perfect stop off for us on a long drive. Constance has such a calm and friendly manner and was so welcoming and spoke wonderful English as well as the many other languages of people staying here. She recommended the restaurant next door for that evening which had on a fun fortnightly even that she was going to and it really was! "We spent 3 weeks in Europe. The B&B de Oude Winning was by far, and we mean "by far" the best accommodation we had. The service was beyond the best and the accommodations were sparkling clean, modern, and everything was outstanding. We'd go back in a minute and we'd recommend it to anyone. "

"The wifi is terrible. I could only use it in the stairwell. It's quite a ways from the train station if you are walking with heavy bags (about 1km), but across the street from one of the three caves. It was quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. "

"Upon arrival the property did not have heat or hot water nor bedding for the second bed and they will not return my emails to try and correct the issue. I left immediately without staying and they will not refund me."

Great location, excellent facilities and parking

"Have visited a number of times now and will always stay here when in Liege. Good value for money and a nice alternative interior based around centralised bar. Good beers of course as it’s Belgium and they have a free pool table too which is always entertaining. Parking is off site over the road in modern parking place and is around 18 euros a night with validated ticket form reception of hotel. Good food available too and plenty of places to have a drink and eat in nearby. Has a nice chilled vibe to it and breakfast is good too. Will come back 100%"
