Heating in the room is adequate. The water pressure is good; thus hot shower is enjoyable

Staff visibility/availability
*We arrived at the hotel at 4:10 PM. We had to wait for quite a while upon check-in because the receptionist wasn't there
*No information was given on the breakfast time. Moreover, we were also not informed that the hotel locks the main door at midnight. When we returned to the hotel at ~12:30 AM, we were locked out. We had to wait for more than 30 minutes outside, in freezing temperatures. We were only able to get inside the hotel when another hotel guest who was in his room, saw us; and finally opened the door
Safety
*Hotel receptionist Yusuf never wore a mask. Aside from being a receptionist, he also makes the food for breakfast. When he prepared our breakfast, he neither washed his hands nor used a disinfectant like alcogel prior to handling the food. We decided not to eat the food items that came in contact with his bare hands; and had our second breakfast outside the hotel
*At one point, it took time for the receptionist to show up, and open the main door which was locked from inside. There was no visible key that could be used to open the locked door. This is a potential safety hazard in case of emergency
Smoke & Soundproofing
*The room smells strongly of smoke (burnt wood and/or cigarette). The property acoustics is poor
*Once in the room, one can loudly hear noise from the other rooms, including running water
