"I can't say enough about this beautiful place. I honestly don't want to leave. Both San Remo and the accommodation were everything I was hoping for and more. We loved it so much that we extended our stay. Everything was clean and tidy, the beds and couches were so comfortable and the ambience was just so peaceful and relaxing. "What an absolutely amazing place to stay for the night. Loved the warm fire on a chilly night along with the old record player, cozy bed, waking up to the beautiful birds singing and delicious fresh produce for brekkie. No detail has been spared; this is one of the best places we've stayed. A beautifully renovated old school, highly recommend!"

"My Dad & I stayed for 5 nights, usually pass through Kilcunda, it was hard finding somewhere to stay during school holidays but glad I found La Cabana. Only a block from main road and easy walk to Cafe' (only place we ate) and across main road to The Bass Coast Rail Trail and steps to beach. "The property is in a great location and we have stayed in this part of Inverloch before and enjoy the stroll along the beach into town to grab our morning coffee. The process if you require linen was not the best in terms of you had to contact the Linen Service separately from the local Real Estate Agent who manages the property. Not the most seamless process."

"Just perfect for us. Room for our dogs and teenage children. Short stroll to the surf beach. Had a lockable garage for all our bikes etc which was great. Basic cooking utensils and pans but we generally bring our own as we are fussy so not a problem for us. There is a gas bbq which we did most of our cooking on. Loved the added little surprise of wine and beer on arrival. Thank you team."

"The original art decorating the rooms, the well-equipped kitchen and large bathroom, the comfortable bedroom furniture and the lovely lounge fittings all combined to make it the perfect holiday spot for us. Wonthaggi had all the things needed for a holiday in January but we didn't see any crowds. They were probably at the popular holiday spots along the Bass Coast."
