Beautiful Views Close to Beaches
This lovely home is situated in a beautiful community with sidewalks and a greenbelt path close by which leads down to Brenneke & Poipu Beach Parks. From here it is easy access to all main travel routes by auto. All the amenities needed to enjoy your time at the beach are included. The host of this property, John, is a real asset. He is very responsive to questions and requests and knows the area very well and he shared info about how and where to enjoy this gorgeous island. Early mornings and evenings relaxing on one of the 2 lanais was a favorite time for us. The breezes cool you off and the views, sunsets and moonlight are extra special.

It was advertised to have an air conditioner but it did not function. I called the manager the first day but it was never fixed so It was very hard to sleep in the heat. I asked for a rebate but the owner screamed at the manager that I should have left the first day. But I had already paid over $ 2,000 for a 5 day stay.

Clean, non-condo space that is located perfectly if you prefer to stay in South Kauai. Lots of amenities to make you feel more like home, and a very friendly host that is more than willing to offer advice and help to ensure you have a great stay. We will be looking here first for any subsequent trip to Kauai.

Wonderful property with great location
This was our 2nd visit to this amazing property! It’s in a residential area with a superb location....close enough to walk to the beach different ways. We enjoy the ability of a kitchen (and grill) and being able to combine food preparation with an occasional visit to a restaurant. The breezes are very cooling...there are even 2 lanais, and the house is just....well....comfortable! The agent, John, is amazingly attentive, and he was the agent when we visited 5 years ago! This property is a gem and should be given serious consideration!. We will seek this property on every visit to Kauai!

Quiet and relaxing
This basement apartment had everything we needed and was quiet and private. The yard surrounding area is lovely and the property is close to food and activities. The pool and hot tub access was nice, but the hot tub heat was broken. The manager, John, was helpful. He even gave us early access, which was awesome in light of our early arrival time. A home run for my daughter and me.

Beautiful little bungalow close to the beach
We loved the rental. It was a 10 minute walk to the conference center at the Grand Hyatt and close to the beach. It is a beautiful setting and very private.

Convenient and comfortable stay for a couple
Had a very pleasant stay at this property in Poipu. Really appreciated that communication with the host was near immediate during our stay. The location was convenient to some of the beaches. The unit was clean and inviting for a couple. We did not spend too much time in the unit as we were usually out and about, but it had all that we needed. Was pleasantly surprised to see that there was access to a pool, although we never used it. Had very good airflow through the bedroom and never needed to use air conditioner.

We enjoyed the beautiful neighborhood, the quiet and serene backyard and lanai and the gorgeous view. John was the perfect host, always responding to questions and a very thoughtful and kind person. Beautiful lower level of house in nice neighborhood
The neighborhood is spectacular and location is great. The checkin process was easy and communication was really good. The lower level of the house is decorated nicely. The AC is loud and struggles to keep up on hot days, your best bet is to open all the windows and pray it’s not too humid outside. The BBQ was brand new. The kitchen isn’t a full kitchen but it has all you need to prepare simple meals. We will definitely consider staying here again.

It's Paradise
This home is perfect for a couples getaway. It's clean, classy, and convenient to two beaches. An easy paved path gets you to the beach in a couple of minutes. The yard is lovely. We really loved our stay!

Poipu Beach is relaxing and beautiful
We spent 5 days at Hololani, the lover level of a comfortable, clean and convenient home in the Poipu Kai Resort area. Our two teens took the sofa bed and enjoyed many movies on the Roku, after tiring themselves out at the resort pool. Every day we swam at Poipu Beach and watched the sea turtles beach themselves to rest at dusk. We walked all over the area and took daily drives to Waimea Canyon, old town Koloa, different beaches, old cemeteries, and gift shops. The property manager is wonderfully helpful. A great vacation!

The Best Place w/ the Best Host on the Best Island
From the very beginning we knew it would be super. John contacted us while we were at the airport upon arrival to welcome us and advise that best provisioning for a week’s stay was in Lihue at Safeway and/or Costco. Good to know. After that he (and Jill) were extremely helpful with dining and “doing” recommendations. They even tipped us off that our departure day coincided w/ Kauai marathon so we could avoid getting caught in road closures en route to airport. John and Jill are gracious, helpful, kind and worthy hosts. This roomy house is so well suited to visitors. Beaches are close by but at same time it’s private and secure. Refreshing breezes blow through the place all day emblematic of its tropical location. Plus the artwork makes it feel so cozy… it is truly a home away from home. Mahalo John and Jill.

The property is a 10min walk from the Poipu Beach! It has all the amenities you need for an extended stay. Access to the pool is included, although we did not use it.
