HOW DO I GET MY FREE LEI GREETING FOR TWO?
If you are staying 7 nights or longer, you will receive a free lei greeting for two people upon arrival at LIH airport. Once you complete your reservation, you will need to provide your flight details and we will take care of the rest. The Lei greeting will take place at the baggage claim area.


DOES THE CONDO HAVE AIR CONDITIONING?
YES! There is a powerful AC unit in the living room. The unit also has a ceiling fan in each room, an extra portable fan as well as extra vented windows to maximize the flow of the ocean breeze.

DOES THE CONDO INCLUDE USE OF A POOL & FITNESS CENTER?
Yes. All Kiahuna Plantation guests have free access to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club across the street. For access you will check in at Poipu Beach Athletic Club. You will find a large swimming pool, water slide, hot tub, full gym, full locker rooms, 2 half basketball courts, 3 pickleball courts and 4 tennis courts. They provide all sporting equipment such as basketballs, tennis racquets and balls, pickleball equipment, table tennis, etc. Lastly, there is an onsite restaurant and bar with full service and a great menu.

WHAT FLOOR IS THE CONDO ON?
Our condo is on the top/2nd floor of Bldg. 23. Just a few steps from where you will park which is convenient for bringing in luggage and groceries!

CAN YOU HEAR ROAD NOISE FROM THE CONDO?
No. This unit is far away from Poipu Road where the road noise comes from. You may, however, hear the ocean waves coming from the beach.

IS BEACH GEAR INCLUDED?
Yes! The condo includes bodyboards, beach chairs, beach mats, beach umbrella and a cooler. There is rental hut on the beach that provides free beach towels, free beach chairs and additional paid beach gear rentals.

GOOD TO KNOW:
- Coffee machine is a 12 cup regular drip. Ground hawaiian coffee for one pot is provided.
- Washer and Dryer takes credit card only

Perfect place for us!
My husband & I stayed here for 3 nights. The place was absolutely perfect for us! The A/C worked great! The bed was comfortable, kitchen was stocked with what we needed, the shower was wonderful after a long, hot day of being at the beach, hiking, or sightseeing. They had a wide variety of beach items, including beach chairs &.a cooler. We would definitely stay there again!

We had such a great time. Was affordable for the area. The property was beautiful and fairly quiet. Beach was fantastic. Kitchen was well enough stocked for cooking. The place needs an update but was clean and comfortable

Perfect for a Couple
Renting this place was easy and so was the check in process. The location being so close to Poipu beach made for an excellent quick walk down to the beach and a gorgeous one at that. It had everything we needed and I would definitely recommend this place for any couple. It’s a bonus that there are some restaurants you can walk to as well :) thanks Erick !

Incredible location!
My partner Ellie and I had an amazing time staying at Erick and Sandy’s condo in Kiahuna Plantation. It was a great launching point for us to see the rest of the island ( boat tour from Port Allen, helicopter from Lihue, hike in Napoli Coast, and drive up to Hanalei Bay) or just hang out on the beach in Poipu. Would highly recommend!

Lovely Poipu getaway!
Great location in proximity to Poipu area and Koloa. Beach gear for the stay and an A/C that took a little figuring out! Save $$$ over the resorts with a spacious condo. If you stay local and are willing to hoof it, you can save on a rental and just lyft/uber to farther excursions.

Loved Kauai and Poipu specifically. Unit is a very brief walk to the beach. Easy drive to other parts of the island. Amenities such as beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler, boogie boards, etc were greatly appreciated. Overall a pleasant experience.

This was an amazing unit that checked all the boxes. Great A/C unit, comfortable unit, quality beach supplies, short walk to multiple sunset locations, wonderful grounds, quick access to bars, resorts, shops. This is a perfect unit to relax and drop in to beach life in Poipu.

Amazing Kiahuna Resort condo in Poipu
Sandy & Ericks Kiahuna Resort condo in Poiipu is Amazing. Every detail covered in their description was as described and their communication was very helpful for arrival, check-in, and parking. The Condo was perfect and the location to the beach, resort, and local delights was perfect. All you need for a step into the slow pace of a tranquil, tropical, and well-deserved vacation. Our only regret was we did not stay longer as we planned too much for our trip. We will have to come back again. We highly recommend Sandy & Ericks Kiahuna Resort condo :-)

Condo on Great Beach
We have stayed at Kiahuna Plantation several times. It sits on a great beach for swimming and boogie boarding (our favorite), and this condo is a very short walk to the beach. It also is close to so many things (Poipu Beach to see the turtles and monk seals at sunset), restaurants (at the nearby hotels or across the street), boat trips and the airport (within 20-30 minutes). We prefer condos versus hotels, since we don't like to have to go out for every meal (especially breakfast). The kitchen is well-stocked, and it was nice to have boogie boards and beach chairs (there are also chaise lounges on the lawn). There is A/C in the living room (most units don't have A/C) and several fans which were much appreciated. The owners were very responsive!

Great location and unit.
We didn't spend a great deal of time in the unit as we were out exploring most of time, but it did offer more convenience by having the kitchen, back porch, etc that we just didn't get to take advantage of. Parking was limited directly by they unit in the late evenings, but small inconvenience. Laundry on property was also helpful.

Kiahuna Plantation condos are always a winner. This one mostly lived up to the reputation. A little bit of repair work & maintenance would bring it up to 4 or 5 stars: AC went completely out on second day; AC controls are very difficult to decipher; TV needs to have directions posted in order to operate one of 3 remotes + channel navigation; several window cranks not working; stove elements wobbly.

Nice Place on a Resort with Beach Very Close
This is a nice property, perfect for a couple. It had the feel of a hotel suite with kitchen and would be fairly crowded with people on the sofa as well as in the bedroom. It's very open-plan. The view over the lawn is very tranquil and the lovely beach is just a couple of minutes walk away. You can walk to the adjacent Poipu Beach in very little time and see turtles snoozing. Beach chairs and boogie boards etc were nice to have. Kitchen is well equipped. BBQ on the lawn across the parking lot. We didn't use the pool at the Athletic Club - which is across the street and maybe 7 minutes walk. The condo is on the second floor, so there are a number of stairs to climb.

Stayed for a week-great to be able to walk to gym, local beach and best coffee at Little Fish all within a short stroll. We also took a 10 min walk to Poipu Beach. Condo has everything you need for a lovely day at beach-2 beach chairs and 2 umbrellas-even a cooler & wagon to tote gear around.They have other beach items we didn’t use. Sheraton bar/restaurant right next door for easy lunch/snacks. Recommend getting a standard/compact car for easy parking and gas. We drove whole island on 1/2 tank. Best dinner at Roy’s 1849 House. Lunch at Living Foods salads. Merriman’s was just ok. Host responded quickly with any qs. Bed was comfortable. Pans were in good condition for cooking breakfast. A/C is a must as it’s humid and hot. We used the extra fans while we were out which helped circulate the a/c and we returned to a lovely cool bedroom to sleep in. Walk to Catch the sunset next door in front of Rum Fire restaurant. Grounds of condo property are beautiful too.

Unparalleled Comfort and Thoughtful Amenities!
Our recent stay at this condo was an absolute delight! Having experienced our fair share of condo rentals at the Outrigger, we can confidently say that this one stands out as one of the best we've ever had the pleasure of staying in. First and foremost, the comfort level of the bed was outstanding. Unlike some other condos we've stayed at, this bed provided us with the perfect night's sleep. Another standout feature was the condo's ability to keep the temperature just right. With not too much direct sunlight, we never felt uncomfortably warm during our stay. The building layout, ample number of fans, and A/C (although not much needed) provided a cool and relaxing atmosphere that we greatly appreciated. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the condo was equipped with beach gear, including two body boards. It was such a treat to have these items readily available for us to use. Furthermore, we were impressed by the attention to detail throughout the condo. Everything was in working order and we appreciate the absence of unnecessary furniture that allowed more room for our items during our stay. Overall, this condo surpassed our expectations in every way. It's clear that the owners have put a lot of thought and care into making their guests' stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We highly recommend to anyone seeking a remarkable vacation experience!

Kiahuna Plantation Resort Kauai by OUTRIGGER: Office hour 7-9 (not 24 hour front desk), signs are hard to follow even with a map, specially for late check-in, dark at night, signs are not clear and frequent enough for direction to the Office. Late check-in procedure was a bit cumbersome. Front Desk gave conflicting info for Free access to Poipu Beach Athletic Club. Condo: LOVE the complementary lei greeting for 2 at the airport . Our parking section was always full after for return at night, perhaps each condo can park more than 1 cars?.. . Only one entry point to the condo's section. It's 3 switch-back stairs to carry up for luggage. . Private Balcony lanai, though it's next to the AC machine that pumps out hot air.   . Condo has beach gears as described, not noted in the description are the snorkels, kid's size, 2 adult pairs. One Boogie board no longer grip the band. . Love the cooler with ice packs ready for outings. . Sofa bed/couch could use a pad replacement, our 110 pound girl could feel the spring on her back, not comfortable for 9 nights. . The shared BBQ grills are on near the beach, first come first serve. . The kitchen could use a small jars of oil, salt & pepper to hold us until the next day grocery trip. We used the non-stick pan most often. Enough dish detergent for 9 nights. Great knife set. We couldn't find the place-mats for the glass table, had to use paper towels. . Smart TV is not smart, has no Blue-tooth option. . The property has no gas, so no carbon

Anniversary Trip
My husband and I stayed here for our 10 year anniversary. We had a great stay. The place was clean and really close to the beach. It was nice to be able to carry the chairs provided down to the water each day and go for a swim. Poipu is our favorite spot on the island and this trip did not dissapoint. We would book here again.
