Enjoy A/C throughout the entire house. Our newly remodeled 1920's Hawaiian owned and built by my great grandparents, was originally the first house on the hill above Poipu Beach.
Entering Poipu Hale Ohana, you will be stunned with views that overlook Poipu Beach, the South Shore coastline, and on clear days the sight of the Island of Ni'ihau. As well as impressive views of the lush mountain range. Located within a short 5 minute walk to Brenneckes & Poipu Beach. Enjoy ocean and Sunset views from the Living room, Dining, Kitchen and outdoor Gazebo area.

Included with your stay is the use of Poipu Beach Athletic Club and the facilities amenities for up to 9 guest's. Just a short mile drive up the road. You can enjoy their resort-style pool with waterslide and hot tub, workout center, Tennis courts, Pickleball courts, Basketball courts, on-site restaurant with poolside service and much more.

Enjoy the benefit of socializing together or relaxing in private spaces, This home includes 2 separate Entrance units, Upstairs 3 bedroom/1.5 Bathroom. Down stairs, 1 bedroom/1 bathroom. Both units have full kitchens and their own washer and dryer.

The Upstairs of this home has a marvelous large and open living area with comfortable furnishings. Large Flat screen TVs above the fireplace in living and dinning area. Plenty of seating at Island bar, dinning table and breakfast bar with a sizable kitchen well equipped. Each bedroom has a smart flatscreen TV, full size closet, luggage rack, laundry basket, and Dresser. All TVs have Cable, Netflix, Disney+, paramount +, & Hulu.

In addition, we have our li'ili'i (small) downstairs suite. Perfect for couples or friends traveling together as it offers Its own fully equipped Kitchen, Bathroom, and 1 bedroom with a queen bed, and one more perk of an extra twin bed. This originally was a low ceiling space. Renovating and keeping the same structure to our home the ceiling remains low, making it a height of 7ft. This is the perfect bonus space for a couple in the group that prefers their own living space. Both TVs have Cable, Netflix, Disney+, & Hulu.

Take advantage of the properties beach gear. Including, Beach Umbrellas, Chairs, Boogie boards, 2 sets of snorkel gear, Coolers, and Wagon to pack up and walk to the beach.
Within a couple miles there are dozens of appealing restaurants, alluring shops, fascinating outdoor activities and places to sight see.

After a long day of adventuring, rinse off in the outdoor enclosed hot water shower. Just steps from the front door we have our shaded gazebo pavilion with large deck and BBQ grill. Comfortable outdoor sectional couch and dining table to kick back, relax and watch the Sunset.

Thoughtful host! Incredible stay!
Our host anticipated our every need. From the kitchen to the beach toys, we had everything we needed. The view was more majestic in person. The photos do not do it justice. The outdoor space was perfect. We loved eating breakfast and dinner on the patio.

Perfect for Families
We had an absolutely wonderful stay here! The house has a full 180 degree view of the ocean, is located very close to the beach, and very well stocked with all your kitchen needs, baby/toddler needs (Full sized crib with sheet, high chair, booster chair, baby monitor), and beach gear. Mona is very attentive and made sure to check in with us several times and make sure everything was going well. Thanks for all the welcome goodies and a wonderful stay!

Perfect!
We travel a lot and this house was one of the best property’s we have all ever stayed at! Mona was very easy to communicate with and so helpful! We were welcomed with some sweet treats and things to remember our trip to Kauai! The house was stocked with anything and everything you would need! Our family of 8 adults had a wonderful 10 night stay at this absolutely beautiful home on Kauai. The house is equipped with everything you need and more, and waking up every morning to the stunning views was just incredible. Mona and Daniel went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect, the best hosts i've ever had. The outdoor gazebo was the family favorite morning coffee to late night relaxing it was the place to be.If you are looking for a home to stay at this is the one.

30th Anniversary Celebration Trip
My husband and I along with our 4 children and 2 significant others celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary and stayed at the house for 10 days. It exceeded our expectations! From the location to the amenities and all of the homey touches we all agreed that it was the nicest rental property we have ever been to! Stunning home, amazing owner!
This house is the most well-curated, thoughtful, beautiful home I’ve rented on the island. Everything was done with intention, the space is cozy, but spacious with the most incredible views, especially of the sunset. We spent every night and every morning in the gazebo. Not to mention, the hospitality of the owner Mona was above and beyond. She was communicative, quick to respond and attentive. You can tell how much she cares about her renters and the home. Will definitely be staying here again!

Poipu Is Worth the Hype
Our whole family, inclusive of our two young grandkids stayed at this amazing home for ten days. From the moment we entered the home, we felt welcomed and excited to stay in such a gorgeous home with ocean views and a rich family history. It’s spacious and well appointed and a very short walk to the beach where we saw several sea turtles. There are so many wonderful details that we loved about this place especially the gazebo and the outdoor shower. Our host, Mona is the BEST! Mahalo for the great memories and hospitality!

Perfect Location
Beautiful home within walking distance to Poipu beach. Views of Poipu beach and sunsets from the kitchen window! This house was appointed with every item you will need when traveling. The beach accessories made this visit easy. The owner also left a beautiful welcome basket of snacks, illustrating her desire to go above and beyond. This is the best home we have rented in 10 years! Perfect all around
The property feels like home. They provide brand name amenities for soaps/shampoos/lotions showing that thought and care are put into every detail. The outdoor gazebo is the game changer here to other rentals. All guests can be together without invading a living space of anyone. Would definitely rent here again.

Kauai family trip
We just finished our 1 week vacation in Poipu, Kauai. We were very impressed with the property with views of the ocean, close location to Poipu Beach, and amenities. Amazingly clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The house was immaculately clean, the views are amazing, everything you need is in the kitchen. Beds are comfy, the outdoor shower rocks! Chairs and boogy boards in the garage, big beach towels, and coolers for the beach that is moments away. We loved the gazebo.

Beautiful Kauai property
We stayed as a family of 7 for four nights on the south shore and wish we would have stayed longer. This property was beautiful, clean, and had anything you could have dreamed of needing, and then more! Communication with Mona was easy and she even left us a welcome package with local snacks and produce. We will forever be dreaming of this view and hopefully will be back to enjoy it in person again!

The best stay!
We were blown away with how perfect this rental was for us! It was so beautiful and thoughtfully stocked with everything you will need for your stay. All the beach gear was so helpful. You immediately see ocean views from the many windows on the main level. It’s walking distance or a short drive to Poipu beach, restaurants and shops. Mona was such an attentive host with welcome snacks and even a gift for my son’s 3rd birthday! I would highly recommend Poipu Hale Ohana!

Mona and her family are the most wonderful hosts!! They have truly thought of everything you could need during the stay. The home is breathtaking and within minutes to the beach. The beds are comfy, the kitchen well stocked, the halls even have little motion night lights. The gazebo was a favorite stop each morning and the beach was an all afternoon adventure. We can’t thank Mona enough for hosting us. We will be back!!

Great family spot
Mona was fabulous to work with and delightful. The property was spotless and well located for our purposes. The athletic club was close by and fun for our grandkids--just about any game desired was available here. We particularly enjoyed having our meals out in the gazebo. I wish we had booked an extra day or two on this island! Highly recommend this property. (Note: the en-suite bath in the upstairs area has no shower which was noted in the info on the website. This requires working around but was not a problem for us.) Kitchen was the best equipped in any property we have stayed at!!! We are grandparents who took our 7 oldest grandkids to Hawaii for a couple of weeks and this property helped us have a great start to the trip.

This property is just gorgeous. The host thought of everything to make our life easy and comfortable. The beach is just down the road. We went there almost every day. The house comes with all the beach accessories you need. We enjoyed eating out on the gazebo. Communications with the host were always prompt and gracious.

Our entire family, 6 of us, went to Kaua'i for my wife and my 50th Anniversary. The host,Mona, left a sweet note and gave us wonderful welcoming gifts. She was great the whole week; very easy to contact and very responsive. An incredibly well-equiped kitchen, comfy furniture, motion detector night lites, AC units, .... this house has it all. The views and sunsets are incredible from this place. We all loved staying here and I can fully recommend this house for large groups.

I can only give this home and its host (Mona) 12 out of 10 stars! From moment we walked in we were welcomed by a thoughtful message and gift basket! We were blown away by the beauty of this home, its cleanliness and the amenities it came with! Mona was so thoughtful for all of our little needs! The kitchen and pantry were fully stocked and all needed to get were groceries! I was also very happy with the attention to detail with ensuring we had shampoos, conditioner, body was, and especially baby wash for my toddler! I would definitely come back to stay here! Great place near Poipu Beach
This was truly an amazing spot to stay! The host was very responsive and accommodating. The house itself was in great condition and yard was well maintained. You get great ocean views from the house and gazebo. They also have beach equipment to use and the beach is only a short walk from the property. We also used the Poipu Athletic Club which is right down the road. I don’t think there was single thing that we didn’t have at the property that we wished the host would have provided. Overall, the host has done an excellent job with this property and we would absolutely stay here again! Thank you Mona for such a great stay!
