It was a hot day, about 36 Deg C. The room was super warm when we arrived, there wasn't any AC or fan, then I had requested a table fan and there were plenty of them to choose from the pick up room. But there were hardly a couple of electrical sockets in the room behind the TV and had to plug the table fan their , which was bit far from the cot. The TV in the room was not a smart TV and so their was no provision to connect Chromecast device. Coming to the WC, the commode tank took about 5 minutes every time to refill. Overall a very very basic hotel.

It was wonderful in all respects. I also have to say that the morning I left (Wednesday June 22), I realized I didn’t look into how to get to the airport and when I checked that morning everything was in Danish and I was getting worried how to do it. One of your staff helped — she walked me through the whole process until I had the bus ticket on my iPhone. I was so grateful and she was so kind. It was above and beyond any expectations. My heart was full that people really go out of their way to help others during times of need. I was so impressed by her and as a result of the Zleep hotel which hires such a kind souls. She was busy helping people at breakfast and helping people check out and still took substantial time to help me. Thank her for me!

The room was dirty and full of ants. Blood and other suspect stains on the sofas and the bedding was not clean. The room was supposed to be accessible but the bathroom was not accessible for a wheelchair user. There was no soap in the bathroom. There was no access to reception to purchase drinks. Despite asking for the room to be cleaned it was not.

Discount hotel = discount quality
Decided to try out Zleep,. It was about 20% cheaper than the other large chain of hotels I normally tend to use. I hate to say it was a "meh" experience; - Language: I called to tell the staff I was running a few minutes late. Very friendly lady on the phone, but only speaking English. Some older people might have problems with it. The "real" receptionist was a very karismatic Swedish girl - she managed to "show and tell" where to go. The Hotel also offer check in via a machine, which is a huge plus. However, I did not see any info about this on hotels.com, but Zleep does mention it on theirs. You get a 24 hour room card. Blackout windows a plus. Booked double bed, received narrow single bed. Mattress appeared worn; I could clearly feel and hear the springs when sitting down in the bed. I did sleep fine, though. Blackout I experienced this downgrading with no choice nor refund at other discount hotels,and I dont agree with it. Reception was closed after inspection. Fridge was noisy so had to turn it off for sleep. Water cooker: Worked, bit chalky! Had to fill it with plastic cups from toilet faucet. Free paper cup dirty. Room was unclean; a few stains on floor/surfaces, lint and some residue like hair from earlier visitors here and there. Wiped finger along 5 cm of foot panel - dirty! Shower: Leaky rusty pipes, wet floor. Some spots of black/brown mold in shower area. Noisy toilet fan. Cleaning staff very loud English in the morning. I'll pay the 20% extra next time.

Pleasant stay in Kolding
Our room no. 82 had a problem with the floor drainage of the shower, so the water ran beyond the toilet next to it. The lamps above the beds are mounted too low, so one cannot comfortably sit in the beds and read. They should either be moved to each side of the bed or higher up on the wall. Apart from the above, everything was just fine.

Nice hotel..indeed Yet I can say expedia is fraudulent as they duped me on the booking I made in Botrop germany , book same property twice I paid twice and they cancelled the reservation and never returned the money till date.. duped me twice I can’t recommend expedia to any friend

Lovely clean comfortable hotel with helpful staff
Great inexpensive hotel - clean, able to accommodate a family of 3 in one room, and very friendly front desk staff. The check-in desk is only open until 8pm, after that you must use a machine by the front entry. I was nervous about this, but it worked perfectly, just like checking in at the airport and produced a room key. The room is bright and clean. Only minor complaints were occasional but rather loud local bus and truck traffic on the street outside; and the slats broke on my daughter's bed (no jumping, I promise) and they forgot to fix it. Staff was super helpful with our requests. Our luggage didn't arrive to Billund with us but when our bags were delivered the following day, staff kindly moved them into our room (as we requested) while we out and then texted me to let me know. Same experience the next day with some laundry we had done in Kolding (at Bente's Laundry, who could not have been kinder and brought our washing to the hotel as we couldn't get there before closing).

Watch for the closed road
Nice enough hotel for an overnight stay, sort of like an old motel with the doors on the outside. Clean enough, comfortable enough, fairly handy for the motorway although beware of satnav sending you down a closed road. Wouldn't rush back, but next time I am passing Kolding on the trip up from Germany I would probably stay again. Shops and stuff a short walk away, and a big shopping centre with a good choice of shops and restaurants 5 minutes drive away
