During the winter season: Please note that you are on the north side of the Arctic Circle in authentic Lapland and not in a tourist center. From here, you'll leave home with the experience richer and redesigned.
For authentic Lapland conditions, you'll need a little sense of adventure and no rush! We've made the video tutorials for everything you need-you 'll get a link to them after you book a cabin.
SnowSnow
is a lot in winter and maintenance is slower than in urban areas. The snow work at the cottage is done by yourself. There are equipment on site for this.
When you arrive, you may need to open a 30-meter path from the parking lot to the cottage(if it's snowed).
The shovel is in the parking lot against the tree.
Dirty
time May be “a few” spots in the summer. Be prepared for this.
Road to your destination
The cabin is at the end of the road. The road to the cottage is 5km from the main road and there are signs on the road about every kilometer on the right side of the road in trees, marked with reflectors.
Please drive on the road max. 30km/h. There are potholes on the road, and often reindeer, canal birds, and other animals. The road is the so-called basic lapland road, lapintie, so it's not in good condition, drive carefully. If there are grooves in the way, don't drive in the groove. You can get there by regular car with normal ground clearance and good tires. You don't need an SUV, but the road isn't suitable for low-filled vehicles. In winter, the road is much more easy to navigate than in the summer.
