We have just spent two weeks in this villa (12 -26 Feb 2011), and had the most relaxing holiday we could have hoped for. This villa is a superb property, and the pictures do not lie or do it justice. The accommodation is as good as any hotel, with the freedom to do your own thing whenever you want to, and you never need to worry about getting a sun bed by the pool, you will always get one.
The service provided by Samui Escapes was first rate, the transport from and to the airport was on time and comfortable. The agent who met us and showed us the villa was friendly and helpful, I only had to contact them once to confirm what time we had to leave, and we were given right up until the last moment, apart from that, we were left alone to enjoy the villa and our holiday.
The villa is well maintained and as has all you need to enjoy yourself and stay relaxed. There is free wifi, a good size TV, DVD and music player that pipe music outside. The kitchen is more than adequate, and all the utensils and crockery are of a good standard. The bedrooms are a good size, comfortable beds with the linen changed a couple of times a week. They both have fantastic en-suite indoor/ outdoor huge sunken baths, as well as a rain shower cubicle.
The garden is well kept (daily) and the pool is fantastic, cleaned a couple of times a week, early in the morning, so you are not intruded on at any time.
The outside sitting area is great to keep out of the sun, or sit in the evening and relax in the spotlight lit garden.
The beach is within walking distance, but it is worth renting a scooter or car to get around the island a bit. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, and just down the road, Tesco Lotus is ten minutes away, just past the Big C, handy for a grocery shop if you decide to eat in.
We really enjoyed this holiday, as we were able to completely relax in a superb location, we’ve stayed in five star hotels in Bangkok, Dubai, Singapore and KL, but this villa rental matched them all.
