"Location is good with access to a secluded rock beach. Apart from that, there's several problems. The property is not finished and should not be operating. There's several safety hazards like exposed wires, and nail and screws in areas where you are meant to be walking barefoot. Dorms are on a mezzanine level and at night there's no light or protection so people fall and hurt themselves. This place is a mosquito breeding ground with lots of mudd and stale water right under the dorm. They should...

"Overall we liked the resort. It was quite the hike to get there so we recommend you stay a while...we stayed 2 nights and it was too long of a trip for a short stay. Check in was SLOW. We arrived at 7:30 pm and didn't get to our tent until 8:30. Since there is literally no where to go except the resort, it would have been nice if they had a snack counter. If you are traveling with children we recommend tour bring snacks or be prepared to buy a meal when your kids are hungry. The beach, the...

Beautiful Resort steps away from best swimming

"Amazing, going home and thinking how soon can I get back here? A small village and port but a great resort if you want to eat good food that’s reasonably priced and swim in the Gulf of Thailand all day long. Our villa faced the ocean and while I didn’t Actually count the steps it was so close from door to ocean and we loved it so much. We had a fabulous time. Highly recommend GOLDEN BEACH RESORT. "

"We loved the resort! It was beautiful and the beach was stunning. The staff was wonderful! Especially Chan Ny. He was very attentive and accommodating for us. We did have one safety issue/ concern with an unwanted guest on the property. The staff took care of this immediately and after the one issue- it was not a problem again. The only recommendation that I would have is to enclose the gyn so that there are no mosquitos (it was swarming every day) and so that the air conditioner works. The air conditioner was running every day, but because the gym is not kept enclosed, it did not work very well and I am sure it was expensive to the resort. They are working on expanding and building at the moment, but it never did disrupt our vacation and it was great to see that this place is doing well. I would definitely return! "

"This is a nice peaceful resort. Only 20 minute walk along beach to bars/restaurants. The Staff here are very helpful and pleasant. The beach in front is kept very clean by the resort. Breakfast good. Free use of kayak and paddleboard. We took a dome room on the beach. All the rooms have nice little patios. Good housekeeping. Would come back."
