I had high hopes for this hotel, but it did disappoint. The woman at the front desk was very rude upon check in, and acted like she didn't have record of our reservation. I had to write down my name on a piece of paper, (why not just ask for passport as they will need), then she wanted me to pull up my reservation and show it to her, and then my Expedia booking number was requested, which I couldn't find. I finally asked her if she couldn't just look up my booking in today's reservations, which she finally managed to do. Not a very professional process, plus she had an attitude. The trek up to the room was very strenuous - you should be in great shape if you book a sea view room, as they are very high, and you will carry all of your bags up many flights of steep stairs. I would dread every day I had to leave my room, knowing all the work I had waiting for me to get back at the end of the day. Now, about that "sea view", that is only partially true. The view is really mountains/greenery, and only upon turning your head all the way left, do you see the sea view. It should be advertised more accurately as partial sea view. It is definitely not what you will see from bed when you wake up. The Infiniti pool was a nice touch and always occupied. The design inside was updated and nice, but the shower was built poorly, and the floor gets wet when used. The bathroom has a fowl smell, likely caused by the water. Breakfast was very poor, and had no vegan options except for 2 fruits.
