For the price I paid, this amenities were well-matched. Basic double decker bed, toilets and showers in the room and lockers for each person. Generally clean, but was a bit sandy near the front area. No complaints on this. You'd have to bring your own lock though, as the lock is not provided. The staff gave me the key to the room as I was the only one occupying the room at the room.
The downside? As I was in Koh Phangan during the off-peak - nowhere near the Half Moon or Full Moon party timings, the hostel was practically empty besides a handful others. Can be a bummer if you're travelling alone and looking to do group activities with fellow patrons. Another thing was, I found 2 millipedes in the room. The staff was kind enough to help remove one of them, but I had to dispose of the second one myself as staff normally leave the premises around 6pm.
On the whole, I'd recommend this hostel for travellers on a shoestring budget looking for a place to just sleep and shower, that's not too far from the port.
