The little beach is only used by 3-4 sets of bungalows which is lovely to wake up to, but often there's no sand so you can't relax on it. The bungalows are cute from the outside, but they're unbearably hot, the bed is solid as a rock, you don't even get a sheet to lie under - just a towel with holes in. Our "pillow" was also just a pillow case with towels inside haha! The shower doesn't even have a hot tap to try, and the Internet only works sometimes. It's a VERY hilly 1 hour walk to Haad Rin (full moon) but only 5-10 min drive on a bike, or 50-100 baht each way into town and back in a tuk tuk. The man renting the bikes just outside the bungalows will rob you if you're a tourist - people were forced to pay hundreds if not thousands of baht for pre-existing problems he tells you are too small to bother writing down originally. Stay at coral bungalows - huge room with double and single beds, pool, private beach, air con, hot shower, 5 mins walk to haad rin :)
