"We had 4 types of rooms. All was good and had everything we needed. The TV didnt work in our room though was not there to watch tele. The staff was very helpful especially the General Manager. "We stayed 5 nights oceanfront king bed villa 114. Room was very spacious. Right beside bar restaurant that opened at 11am. Other restaurant was open for breakfast. Omlette station was good. Other fruits, coffee etc was decent. 2 pools on one side and one pool on other aide of villa. Staff and servers were extremely friendly and helpful. Live music Sunday and Thursday night's along with nice fire show. I will come again and will stay for a month! Gorgeous beach! Ocean good for swimming....

It was nice but the towels left so much lint everywhere but it was okay because we were being upgraded to a pool view room for the rest of our stay anyways. "Great location. Helpful staff. Breakfast not great but lunches and evenings in the restaurant very good. The owners need to spend some money on it. The shower head didn't reach the holder on the wall because the hose was too short. One handed showers not good enough. Could be much better but an enjoyable stay overall. "

"Great place to stay on a quick return journey to Koh Lanta. Had been to the hotel many times before, but never to stay as a guest. Room was a good size, well equipped and clean. "Worst hotel experience we've honestly ever had. Our air con broke one night into our stay so the room was a sweat box. We had a total of 6 people come in to our room to confirm it was broken, they said they could offer another room to so we packed up our stuff ready to move then they retracted the offer saying they had no room availability. "Can’t review this hotel as we booked a three night stay and when we arrived told there was no room for us on the first night but there was on the other two nights. The hotel did book us into another place which was out of town and had no pool. The booking had been accepted over a week ago so really no excuse to double book the room. So be cautious on booking this hotel."

"This is an older property, that was a peaceful and enjoyable place to stay. The staff were professional, attentive, and friendly. I really liked being up in a higher hillside setting, for the views. The top deck pool was a great place to hang out, and scan the horizon. There are plenty of additional restaurants along the beach. The property is on a hillside, which means climbing a lot of stairs. This was fine for me, as I am in good shape. "

"We came to ko lanta in low season and the island seemed quieter than we expected. It gave us a chance to really relax around the beautiful resort based right on Klong nin beach. I’ve been impressed with the amount of staff busily doing their jobs. As an early riser, I’ve seen them sweep the walkways, scoop the leaves out of the pools and sweep the beach daily. "We had 5 nights at Alanta Villa, and by day two we knew we hadn’t booked long enough. The villas are peaceful, well appointed, comfortable, and very private. Great location and stay - avoid the bar though.

"We had a great stay here. For the price and location, you can’t do better on Koh Lanta! My only complaint is the beach bar - they have 2 for 1 cocktails (220 thb) and we ordered one. They were so small you could literally pour them together in one cocktail glass and that still didn’t make a Norma size drink. We complained to the staff about it, but they did not care. Last drink we had there! As long as you skip those drinks, it’s a five star property!"

"Nice modern rooms. Far from walking street but you can take a Tuk Tuk. The hotel is quite and has nice nature. The beach is rocky but you can find a small opening for swimming. The lounge by the ocean is very nice for an evening drink. The pool is decent. You can get massages with a beautiful ocean view. "
