"The most special thing about the Kathalee is its position. Without doubt the best beach on the island. A little paradise away from all the long tail boats. They offer free snorkelling gear and kayaks which is great. They also provide a free shuttle service to walking street between 6:30 to 7:30 pm each night. We then got a motorcycle cab back which cost 50 baht per person which is great fun if a little hairy !!! The views are lovely from the room (we had deluxe sea view) and it provides...

"This boutique hotel is steps away from the walking street and 3-5 min from Pattaya beach. It suits our need perfectly. Made-to-order breakfast is great. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. They drop off and pick up from boat station and snorkeling launch. Room may be a bit tight with wet shower/bathroom. Still very clean and cozy. "

"The best hotel I've stayed at on Lipe! Was a little dubious at first due to how cheap it was.. But the room is exceptional value for money!! They even provide a free shuttle to walking st between 7am - 8pm but fail to mention this on the booking!! Super king bed is so comfortable.. only negative is the pillows! I've been to koh lipe several times and this place blew my mind!!"

"We knew it was small, especially for a family with 3 children, but we were there for the sea and beach. Nice common area and free tea and coffee acted as our kitchen. Fridge was shared and saved us lots of eating out. Deal breaker was day 7 coming to the room and seeing a rat on our bed. No sleep that night, checked out early.No refund."

"The apartment is comfortable, spacious & clean with everything we needed. Eric was very attentive & helpful as were the staff st the dive centre. It’s well located on the walking street between Pattaya and Sunrise beaches. The only drawback was the bar across the street that played loud house music until 1230 every night. We strategized to stay out until midnight to avoid it. If you’re sensitive to noise this might not be the place for you. Otherwise it was lovely. "
