The only reason I didn’t give it an excellent rating for property is because the Red Roof next door (buildings are about 30 yards apart and share a grassy area) is in poor condition and appears run down. The LaQuinta has just had a makeover and is freshly updated. I’ve been staying there for over 10 years.

Property was laid out very well compared to most hotels I’ve stayed in. Outside doors (that always slam loudly) were positioned away from guest rooms! Around them were storage, vending, and elevator. Brilliant! Also, they are very pet friendly and rooms were still nice and clean!

I typically stay at this property when I visit Knoxville but the condition in the rooms has not been highly maintained. This last visit I had a large king room and the space was terrific, but there were cracks and water stains in the ceiling near the windows where it appears perhaps an AC has leaked. The carpet is okay but looks like maybe it needs a cleaning. It’s not a bad property but I’d love to see some care put into it.

Excellent property. I really enjoyed my stay with my pup. Very pet friendly. Clean, comfortable, great staff. The woman who runs the breakfast bar was amazing. She kept the area tidy, stocked, and hot. She was available if you needed something. Front desk staff was great too. The only negative is that there is no designated outdoor pet relief area. There is a nice strip of grass in the rear of the property but you have to walk through a big parking lot. I felt unsafe going out there especially at night. It was also raining which made it even more challenging to get out there. Overall I would stay there again.
