A great stay with an awesome view and in a great location between beach and hinterland. Loved seeing the fruit plants in the garden. Detailed instructions and information provided were much appreciated. Hope to return again for a longer stay in the future.
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful setting. The house was exactly as described. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evening after our busy days on the beaches. Access to Byron Bay, Lennox Head and Brunswick Heads was excellent. Great restaurants, beaches and shops in the area!
Lovely spot for a getaway. The views are spectacular. Minor comment - we did not find a dishwasher in the property as was listed on the property listing.
Peace and quiet at it's best with a magnificent view!
I loved my morning coffee out on the deck each morning as I soaked up the landscape. The beds were perfect and the description of the property was accurate so no disappointments. Overall, a great place to stay for a 1 week holiday outside of Byron Bay and a convenient location for exploring other areas nearby Byron Bay. Dog friendly too!
A perfect stay for our family in this divine cottage with spectacular view. A short drive to Lennox and Byron. Clean and comfortable with all the essentials and a fabulous relaxing space on the balcony to enjoy a BBQ with the family. Pet friendly a huge drawcard. Close to the highway which was convenient but very quiet.
Absolutely great spot! Wonderful views and great little bungalow. Great place to relax. Really enjoyed Lennox Heads and taking our Doggo to the local dog beach. Well placed to set off and explore the local towns. Being an apartment dog, our British bulldog loved the large balcony and zoomies around the house!!
It was the perfect place for a long weekend to celebrate a birthday and best of all we could bring our dog with us. The cottage is lovely and the deck and view magnificent. We loved it and will be back. Thank you Jenny.
We had the most wonderful 10 days in this gorgeous property! We are already planning to come back! Perfect and comfortable for the four of us - my husband and I and our 7yr old daughter and my mum! The views are amazing - so wonderful seeing the sunrise from bed every morning. The place was very clean and tidy, beautifully styled with comfortable furniture - easy access to everywhere we needed to get to, close to the highway but very secluded and quiet. Thank you to the property manager who was very responsive and left us a bottle of wine! Really hope we can come back soon!
The view from the deck is simply fabulous and a great place to sit and sip with a few biscuits and cheese! The cottage is really well set up with everything we needed. The welcoming jar of chocolates and a bottle of wine was a nice touch!
The grass was very long for our small dog but she still found an avocado 🥑 that had fallen from the tree to present to us ( make that 5 which she left at the door).
Overall a majic place to visit and unwind. The local country store is worth a visit.

The view saved the day
The property was generally in an unkept condition. Cleaning was passable really needed some TLC inside. Very poorly maintained outside we were not able to access the garden area. Mowing had not been done for at least a few weeks. Very overgrown.
Tidy little cottage set back from the ocean with uninterrupted views of green pastures and ocean.
Modern stylish furnishings and new appliances make for a comfortable and convenient stay.
The cottage is in a clean, tidy and original condition that has been freshened up and well looked after. The yard and deck is secure for pets and our Labrador had a dry place to stay on the large deck while we were out.
Photos of the property are a true indication of what’s on offer. Yes the view is really that good!
The property is very quiet for it’s close proximity to the highway. We loved nearby Newrybar and Lennox Heads for coffees, breakfast and dinners. Lennox has a great dog beach which was a bonus! Byron and Ballina are super close by also.
The owner Jenny was absolutely amazing and very good at communicating throughout the whole process.
We look forward to staying again!
The view at this property is amazing, and beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately there is no air conditioning in any room, which we considered for the incredibly high price we paid per night, should definitely have been included. When the breeze blew up it was lovely however that was only in the late afternoon, the mornings were ridiculously hot to the point we had to leave and go somewhere cooler until the afternoon, which was disappointing when we just wanted a holiday away from everything. You just start to enjoy the patio in the afternoon when the sun goes down and the mosquitoes just about carry you away, we couldn’t sit on the patio at all at night, let alone cook a bbq out there. I would not return to this property nor would I recommend it.

Mixed feelings
The property was very beautiful and you wake up to birds chirping every morning and an amazing uninterrupted view.
You cannot hear the highway at all.
The house was smaller than expected / shown in the listing.
I would call it more of a cottage
Downsides are that the main bedroom has sheer curtains so you get a lot of light in the morning. If you’re someone that needs a dark room it won’t suit at all.
The 2nd bedroom (behind the lounge/couch) has block out curtains but the doors don’t close completely and leaves a large gap that lets in light and people can see in.
The doonas also don’t have a case on them, just 2 sheets wrapped around them.
The property is fun for dogs but unfortunately there’s avocado trees which can carry a bacteria that can cause serious illness. Other than that my kelpie and boarder collie had fun running around and exploring with no worry of them escaping.
I had minor issues with the host but they were resolved eventually.
Our stay at Knockrow was restorative. It’s a great location to explore all our favourite North Coast places and to relax with the wonderful view and the resident wildlife.
Absolutely loved this little place. It’s beyond what we thought it was going to be. Magical views, Our dog was able to roam the yard care free thanks to the secure fences, and above all the place was so accomodating for everything else we needed with all the fine touches making it so homely. Will definitely be coming back here asap our pup loved it just as much as we did
